I was recently mowing around a thick bush when I noticed the starter rope broken and the handle missing. It doesn't call out the rope or handel in the IPL. Can you help?
Thanks - Parts Question last edited February 10, 2012 by Keith HahnQuestion:I purchased the HU800HW in early June, and have been pleased with the mower. When folding the handle to transport the mower, I kinked the drive cable, and yesterday, it snapped.
I have been searching online to no avail to find the replacement part number so I can order a new cable. The Owner's Manual is available, but not the illustrated parts list (IPL). I have searched every conceivable combination of letters and numbers to find it, but no luck.
The model number is 961430071 02 (taken exactly as shown on the label on the back of the mower), and I need to order a new cable soon.
Please help, if anyone knows how to find the part number for this item, or can get me the IPL for this mode. - Parts Question last edited February 10, 2012 by Chester HarrisonQuestion:I bought a 7021R last summer. I notices that the drive belt was no able to pull the mower up a small hill this year. I took the cover off the drive belt and found it stuffed with grass, because there is no cover over the drive belt under the mower. Can I get a cover for the belt. Otherwise I need to remover the top belt cover after every small mowing job. This was a very poor design on your part. Also I think this belt exposure under the mower will short the life of the belt. I wish I had seen this before I bought it!!!!

I have a couple of slopes that approach a 25 degree incline and the no-traction rear wheels just don't provide any traction!
What was Husky thinking when they designed these "slicks" anyway?
