General Product Question posted March 25, 2015 by Bill Karlen
    Question:
I have looked at a Poulan PRO Rider PB301 at Home Depot. I live in Florida and all our grass requires a 5 to 6 inch cut. All the residential mowers I can find cut to 4 or 4 1/2 inch cut. This is too short, taxes the grass, promotes insects, disease, and browning. The Poulan PRO Rider PB301 seems to have the ability to raise the mowing deck to the 6 inch cut height (all others bump up against the mower frame). My question is, with spacers added to the rear threaded height adjustment rods will the front of the mower adjust to that height so the deck and therefore cut will be level.

    I have a Poulan Pro Yard Tractor, model# PB20H46YT, product#...escalated1
Parts Question posted August 11, 2013 by Gregg Vinsonhaler
    Question:
I have a Poulan Pro Yard Tractor, model# PB20H46YT, product# 960420037, serial# 122006D001860. My fuel tank developed several cracks in the bottom and needless to say won't hold fuel any more. I ordered the replacement part,#407489 from the dealer from which it was purchased. The Tank came in, I started to reassemble the tractor and the dash cover wouldn't go back on. The mount bracket that holds the blade engagement lever hits the top of the tank. Upon comparison the original tank is considerable lower at that point. The dealer has checked on this and all the tanks that all the venders have in stock for my application are the same as the tank that was sent as a direct replacement and the dealer has informed me that it is in the manufacturers hands as to what they are going to do. I bought this rider approx. 3 or 4 years ago so its not that old and has lots of life left. So if the manufacturer reads this question I would like to know how we are going to fix this problem because its been a few weeks now and I have been improvising to get my lawn mowed. I paid a lot of money for this unit and its only got 80 hours on the unit. I need a fuel tank. The balls in your court Husqvarna.

General Product Question posted June 25, 2016 by Robert Scaler
    Question:
What is the correct procedure to purge the transmission on the Poulan Pro PP19A42 Tractor?
    Details:

Pg 6 of the Quick Reference Guide says to purge the transmission before operating the tractor for the first time.  I just received this unit today, so this is the first time operation.  The procedure begins with:  have the engine off, set the parking brake, and disengage the free-wheel control.  Then start the engine and release the parking brake.  The problem is, you have to have the parking brake set to start the engine, but as soon as you set the brake the free-wheel reengages.  Help!

Warranty Question posted March 31, 2015 by Beatriz Pacchiotti
    Question:

A la fecha no he obtenido respuesta.

Service & Maintenance Question posted August 14, 2013 by Byron Woody
    Question:
While troubleshooting for a problem with uneven cutting, I noticed that there is an approx 3/8" difference in elevation of the mower blades, weather I check on the pulley side or the blade side. Laying a straight edge across either the pulleys or the blades show the same thing, they appear to be parallel but not on the same plane. All bearings, mandrels, etc. appear to be in good order. Is this the way the deck is designed for a PB195H42LT?
    Thanks,

    I have a 20hp 48in riding tractor. Model number is...escalated
Service & Maintenance Question posted June 11, 2014 by Jake Watson
    Question:
I have a 20hp 48in riding tractor. Model number is PD20PH48ST. I cannot get the tractor to move forward or reverse. I get the tractor started, release the clutch and press the forward, or reverse, pedal and have no movement. Now I am not a mechanic but I believe the problem lies here: on the rear of the tractor there is a lever used to put the tractor in neutral if needed to push the tractor manualy. For some reason that lever is missing. I am assuming that was engaged before it went missing and now I cannot disengage it for the tractor to move under its own power. To add to the problem, I called and they no longer produce or even have a manual for this tractor so there is no help from them. So does anyone out there have an old manual or have an idea of how I can get this tractor moving forward? I thank you in advance for your help. Jake
