Service & Maintenance Question posted November 17, 2013 by wayne fegely
    Question:
4421dxp rear wheels not driving, only front wheel drive
    Details:

With front wheels  spinning on grass incline rear wheels do not turn. When jacked up front wheels spin but rear wheels have little torque. I can stop them with my hand. Is there aa slip clutch in the transmission leading to the rear drive shaft?

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 9, 2013 by Doc Hecky
    Question:
Coming from three JD Diesel and gas Gators our local Husqua dealer talked us in 2008 to purchase the HUV4421Gxp SN RL0837.
Will Husqvarna US match John Deer and Kubota after warranty service?
    Details:

As Mr. Grimm stated the sputter and sudden shut-off is in its 430 hour life an ongoing trouble. The worst is the gearbox side spark plug removal and instant oil hose rubbing (leaking) from the engine to the oil filter at the gear box edge.

I would have expected a free retrofit for this design problem.

Ethanol water may build in the bottom of the gas tank. Blowing into the line before the filter also solved the sputter for a week or two.

We will go back to all Diesel tired of the Ethanol. Kubota stands behind its product even after warranty so does JD at 250 and 300 operation hours. Way to go Husquies! The vehicle needs dirt and gravel roads. Not build for concrete. When will the dealers receive the competitions EDU to give good sales advice?

I was in Sweden and know what an historic icon the company is for solid, robust and long lasting products.

Why is it here that the watered down version enters the market?

Thanks for any reply fighting the same problems on the 2008 HUV series.

    Question:
Have a 2008 4421DXP. Recently replaced clutch assembly. Now when shifting to forward or reverse lever is much tighter than before and grinds when trying to engage in both forward & reverse. Took cover off, belt tension is very slight at idle. Drum/Sprocket that turns transmission is constantly turning. Should this turn even in neutral? Belt is barely riding on clutch assembly, when I hold drum to keep from turning shift is smooth and easy with no grinding. Should there be resistance from transmission to keep from turning?

    Question:
    Hi,

My family has a Husqvarna 1365GN generator. It has 18.1 hours on it and it does not put out any voltage at any of the receptacles and the auto idle does not work. We are without power and I can't believe this happened and that we can't count on a Husqvarna product thats not even a year old to be there when we need it the most (no power here in NJ.) We could have gotten another brand for less than half the price but we went all out on this one thinking it was money well spent. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
