General Product Question posted April 9, 2016 by John Braselton
    Question:
I own an 128LD trimmer that I purchased 4/4/16. Depending on where I search, the type and kind of accessories/attachments I'm supposedly able to use with my machine varies. Your website says my model can use the Brush Cutter 825/24 attachment: (967 18 59-01 see below)
while your catalog, Support site, manual and other sources say I need a different attachment (952 711 610).
I am also interested in using the:
    - Blade Conversion Kit #966 56 89-01 (see below)
    - Tri-Cut Trimmer Head 10mm arbor #578 44 91-01

I am very confused. Please refer to the links and the document page numbers listed below. Please clarify exactly what I can and cannot use with my trimmer

    Question:
    HI,

I am considering the 323L and the 326LS trimmers and am trying to understand the differences. My local dealer gives me conflicting answers depending on who I talk to. What are the differences between the two trimmers?

Also what is the actual weight on the 326ls. The Husky website product page lists it as 9lb but the owners manual lists it as 10.1lb.

    Thanks and regards,

    Dennis

    Question:
    Hello Answer ARMY!

I have a 128 CD (curved shaft) that I am going replace the bump feed head on. However, I have cannot seem to get the head off the trimmer.

I remove the string and the cap and I have a giant spring staring at me. How do I step the head from spinning so I can take this off and put on a better head.

    Thanks,
    Greg H

    Question:
I recently acquired a Husqvarna 325L trimmer from my father-in-law who passed away. How can I tell what year it is? It has a serial number on it. Right now, it has a solid blade on the head and I am wondering if I can buy a string trimmer head for it. From what I have read, you should be able to interchange heads.

    Question:
I am considering a purchase of a Husqvarna 223L string trimmer. I see that you now offer a brush cutter kit, but in my searches I came across an Answer Army post from 2011 which stated that Husqvarna did not recommend using a brush blade on any cable shaft trimmers, specifically mentioning the 223L. Has something changed with the model since then, or is it just a shift in opinion? Here is the thread:

I just want to make sure I won't be pushing my luck with this trimmer if I do some brush cutting from time to time, it's a feature I really want to have in my new trimmer.

General Product Question posted August 11, 2011 by William Roberts
    Question:
I now am the proud owner of a 224L string trimmer. I have experienced great difficulty in obtaining one that will work properly. I purchased the original trimmer from Lowe's and the engine would start but the head would not turn. I returned it and got the 2nd one and had the same result. I returned it and got the 3rd one. Before opening it, I contacted the phone support and was instructed to take it to an authorized repair shop if I had the same problem. I contacted the repair shop and was happy to learn that they were were a dealer too. I returned the 3rd one, drove the 15 miles to the dealer and purchased one of theirs. They assembled it and started it only to discover that the head would not turn. Their technician had to remove the cutter head and install it on to the end of the flexible shaft. I brought it home and upon starting it found that the head would still not turn. I returned it this morning and the technician had to remove the engine and had to connect the flexible shaft to the engine. The trimmer is now fully functional.

I am now a retired quality and program management professional and in that capacity I would like to suggest that Husquarna issue a recall notice for this model. It is obvious that the 224L currently available for purchase have been assembled improperly.

I used the trimmer today and I am impressed with its performance. The 4-cycle engine is easy to start, runs quietly and cuts high grass and weeds with ease.

The only complaint I have is that it took such an effort to obtain one that would work. You would think that paying $300.00 for the trimmer that it would work straight out of the box.

I want to commend Dixie Auto Parts(the authorized dealer)for the excellent service. Although it is a 15 mile drive one-way to them I will not use anyone else. Job well done.

    I bought a 122c and a spool of Titanium Force trimmer line,...Answeredescalated1
General Product Question posted May 27, 2011 by Kevin Barkes
    Question:
I bought a 122c and a spool of Titanium Force trimmer line, intending to replace the factory-installed line.

Neither the 122C manual nor the package containing the Titanium Force trimmer line had drawings, photos, or instructions on how to install new line. Thinking the 122c manual may have been updated, I went to the support area of the web site, but a search for "122C" failed.

The YouTube video referenced in a previous question shows how to adjust the line if it retracts during shipment. It doesn't show how to install new line on an empty spool.

I was able to find the information elsewhere on the web. I can understand why instructions aren't included in the trimmer line package; the line can be used on several different models. But it should be included in the 122c manual.

Also, the problem that's preventing the search function from finding the 122c manual in the support section should be corrected.

    Thank you.
