I bought it recently, and I could never get it running right the first time I used it. Then, I carefully reread the starting instructions, and the second time I used it, after warming it up, it seemed to run fine. However, the third time I used it, I let it warm up, and it began to die after about 20 minutes. Every restart gave me only another 30 seconds of operation, so I got frustrated and put it down. General Product Question posted May 10, 2014 by SteveQuestion:I purchased a Husqvarna 128LD from Lowes several years ago. It has done a good job prior to this season. After the worst winter in decades it is being...difficult. I automatically blamed t on ethanol. Running ruff and dying at WOT. so I have replaced the carb, new fuel and filter, new spark plug, new air filter. I even purchased a adjustment tool for the new carb. The trimmer fire right up each time. I got the low side adjusted and idle speed is good. But when I try to adjust the high side it bogs and shuts down? Frustrated to say the least. I cant find any recalls on this unit or I am not looking in the right place.I think it is the ignition bt I keep spending money and time and you guys probably is where I should have come first.- General Product Question posted April 1, 2011 by Jerry WhitakerQuestion:I purchased a string trimmer model #122c at my Lowes store on 3/29/2011. Contained within the package was a note thanking me for the purchase, instructing me to register (which I did on line) and I was to receive free Husqvarna apparel. How is this to occur? No instructions to obtain them.

There are dozens of posts all stating the same problem that they can’t register their product on line because the product model name search does not work. Not a single answer or reply form support to help, and no way to contact them. Sure seems like a convenient way not to have to honor any warranties if the customers can’t register.

If I tip the trimmer on its side to get a different cut angle with the trimmer I end up with gas leaking from the cap down my back/leg. It this normal? Doesn't seem correct. If I try to tighten the cap there seems to be a feature which prevents the cap from being over-tightened and it pops loose.

If I flip the choke off I can keep it running by working throttle but it has not power. Bogs down very easily. I removed air filter and cover and cleaned carb with spray cleaner but did not help. However, despite several tries on multiple browsers the process keeps telling me the "The product no. doesn´t exist" even though the lookup finds the product number (albeit with no corresponding model number). If I try to register with the typed in product number it says "product number is mandatory". What gives? I have to register online to get the extended warranty!
