General Product Question posted May 21, 2018 by Bob Johnson
    Question:
I have a 123L Husqvarna String Trimmer that wont start. I have installed a NEW fuel primer pump bulb, a NEW flywheel, a New ignition module, NEW Champion #RCJ7Y spark plug put in FRESH fuel, and cleaned the air filter...I checked the compression and it has 50 lbs of compression...I also checked the "on/off" switch and it is working properly

It IS getting spark to the plug....I have even "primed" the engine by putting gas directly into the spark plug hole and have even tried spraying STARTING FLUID straight into the plug hole.....Still WON'T EVEN fire briefly.....

So, if I'm getting spark, fuel and air (and 50 lbs of compression) why won't it AT LEAST fire?

The only thing I can think of is TIMING but I installed the flywheel correctly.....PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!

Can I speak to an engineer?

ALSO....What is the compression SUPPOSE to be for my trimmer?....Is 50 lbs sufficient?

    Question:
I have a 128ld trimmer with hedge trimmer attachment. I recently bought the SR600-2 power sweeper but I can not get it attached. Does not even look like it will work. There is not press button release on the power sweep like on my other attachments and it looks to be female on both the power sweep and the trimmer shaft. The literature on the Husqvarna website said it attachs to the 128ld but I am perplexed as to how. What am I missing?

    Question:
I just purchased a Husqvarna Smart Start 27cc Curved Shaft 1.1 HP Lightweight String Trimmer 129C on eBay. It was listed as new. When I received it the box said refub and there's a "R" branded on the bottom of the engine casing. The seller posted that the box will be labeled refurb but will be new. I am really questioning this, especially with the "R" branded on the bottom. Also, I popped open the gas tank lid and it smelled like it had some gas in it at some point; are these tested individually from the factory, or is this a red flag? Does anyone know for sure if this is or not?

General Product Question posted April 28, 2016 by Richard Kuhnke
    Question:
Product Power of the HUSQVARNA 128DJx.

I recently purchased a 2016 HUSQVARNA 128DJx (from Lowes) and currently use only HUSQVARNA fuel (the one in the can) and have recently borrowed a friends Troy Bulit Edger attachment. I attached the edger and as soon as I put it to the dirt to edge the trimmer shut off (did not hit the stop switch). The thing is when I restarted it and held the edger in the air the edger attachment worked fine however when I started to edge the engine cut out again.
So the question is, are HUSQVARNA products exclusive to HUSQVARNA attachments or is my HUSQVARNA 128Jx a dud? Thanks for the responses.

    Best, Richard

General Product Question posted June 9, 2015 by Marty McCabe
    Question:
What is supposed to come with the 525LST? Can't find this info on Husqvarnas website anywhere, it's also not in the manual.
I bought the display (not in a box, they didn't have another one of this model available) and all I got was the trimmer with handle, head, and guard attached, the Manual, warranty sheet, Allen key (L shaped), & bottle of mix oil.
I ask the question because in the manual in the "What is what?" section it shows a "drive disc" (that I assume would be for a blade or the "tri-cut" attachment), a "Locking pin," and a "Combination spanner" which looks like a scrench from the picture. All of these three I did not receive.
The employees helping me must not have been the most knowledgeable, when they brought the manual with the allen key they said all the manuals were a mess, so I'm a little leery as to whether I got everything or not.

    Thank you for your time,
    Marty

General Product Question posted July 9, 2014 by William Hall
    Question:
I stupidly bought a universal hedge trimmer attachment in hopes of using it with my 128LDX trimmer. I just read that the LDX is designed to work with Husqvarna only attachments. Is there a part that I can order that will convert the square universal shaft to the something that will work with the LDX?

General Product Question posted May 28, 2013 by James Munro
    Question:
    Hi,

I am trying to figure out what diameter string is supposed to be used in my brand new 223L. The manual - missing several pages and assembled with pages in alternating directions (reminiscent of a Red Max manual I had in the 80's except the English is better) - has images for both 0.080 and 0.095.

    Do I have a choice?

If so, if there a preferred size? I would imagine the larger diameter is more durable, but does it put additional strain on the bearings?

    Thanks!

General Product Question posted August 28, 2012 by John Del Deo
    Question:
I have a 325 RJ X Series trimmer. The recoil on the starter broke and I am trying to replace it. I have reassembled the recoil and cord properly but I am having trouble reassembling the housing. There is a small black plastic piece that is spring loaded that engages the recoil when you pull the cord. I can't seem to get it replaced properly so that the housing will fit properly to reassemble. Any suggestions?

    Question:
What kind of Army is This? Is everyone on leave?
I see so many No Response POSTS. Not too many owners bother to use this Forum. I do not expect immediate replys but someone out there should monitor it and show the Manufacturer cares. Am I expecting too much? I decided on a Husky 223L Trimmer because I thought Husqvana was a company that cared about its reputation.

General Product Question posted April 15, 2012 by Dennis Jarchow
    Question:
    HI,

I am considering the 323L and the 326LS trimmers and am trying to understand the differences. My local dealer gives me conflicting answers depending on who I talk to. What are the differences between the two trimmers?

Also what is the actual weight on the 326ls. The Husky website product page lists it as 9lb but the owners manual lists it as 10.1lb.

    Thanks and regards,

    Dennis
