Service & Maintenance Question posted December 4, 2015 by Lucas Johnson
    Question:
I need a replacement rear wheel for weedeater one. I was given a weedeater one riging mower last year, sorry I don't have the model/serial # handy at the moment. Last time I tried to use it, one of the rear tires was shredded. So I began the hunt for a replacement tire...it has not been fun. I measured the tire and the wheel hub. The hub measures 2.75". I wanted to buy a marathon flat free replacement wheel, but the options for purchase are for 2.25" hub, and a 3" hub. Does anyone know if either of those will work?

    Question:
On June 29 I left a 326RJX weed eater (Ser # 04 5300276) at your authorized dealer A & G Turf Equipment, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ for servicing. The dealer refused to give me a recipe for the item which I (rather foolishly) left for service anyway. I was told "they do not give customers receipts for items left for service". So now I have no evidence whatsoever for the item I have entrusted to your dealer. Seems like a strange way of doing business. Kindly bring this unusual method of doing business to the attention of Husqvarna and I would appreciate an email response in connection here with. At least this email documents the situation.
    Thanks, Leon Bess 480-226-6170

    Question:
I purchased a weed eater one several years ago. Within a month I had all the problems listed on this site- front steering arms bent, tires shredded, transmission slipping, chains jumping off the sprockets, etc. At the time your customer service and warranty was of no use. As no service center here would touch this mower and you would not stand behind your poduct the hulk has been taking up space in my garage ever since.
I see your company now offers "improved" parts - steering wheel bushing, wheels, tranny etc. As this is an acknowledgement on your part that the original design is flawed will you supply the new parts I need, free of charge, allowing me to put this mower back in service?
Supporting those of us who bought your original flawed design would be a good first step to reztoring your reputation. As it is I will never again purchase from your family of companies.

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 18, 2014 by toby moreland
    Question:
I have a weedeater one, we261, model #9602400001 01, serial # 010811L001970, purchased in 2011. a recall on the friction wheel is in place for my model, but excludes my serial # for some reason. I have the same exact issue that is reflected in the service bulletin #B2010002015, but the service company statess the wheel is not under warrantee. They also stated that the wheel itself cannot be ordered, that the entire transmission assembly must be replaced at a cost of $320 plus tax and labor! This cost is more than the mower is worth! Please advise why this fault in manufacturing that hundreds of other people are also experiencing, is not covered by the bulletin, or at minimum, how I can obtain just the friction wheel...I can replace the $20 part myself. Please dont reply and say i must buy the entire transmission! thank you for your help in this matter.

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 12, 2014 by Brandon Rust
    Question:
My Weed Eater One 875 Riding Mower won't start. I had mowed the front lawn with no problems, stopped for a break, and when I went back, I couldn't get the key ignition or pull ignition to start. When I turn the key, I don't get anything at all. So I thought the battery went dead. Tried pull starting, but to no avail.

Took out the spark plug, and tested. Not getting any spark. Ignition coil is still magnetized.

If anyone could give me a step by step guide of things to check and troubleshoot, I'd be very grateful. TIA Brandon

Service & Maintenance Question posted July 17, 2014 by Michael Cyr
    Question:
unit does start but does not propel(move)!!!

opened up chain drive area and noticed chain on cam shaft(item # 10) had become undone...no longer on primary drive.

have questions on how to reinstall chain including how to tighten it on drive?? did notice brace screws holding gear in place ...any clues on how best to proceed?

are there any other adjustments needed in order to get this thing to propel...heard of the friction dics (# 17) on symatic?

also noticed the chain tightener unit(sprocket on spring wire
assembly seemed loose... not really able to get much tightening action ....probably needs to be replaced ?

don't know if any of this makes any sense...certainly appreciate whatever u can do to help get me back to mowing my over growing lawn!!

    Question:
Ok here we go I have an elderly neighbor that purchased a Weedeator One said that was all she could afford. The problam she was cutting to close to the curb and didn't realize the front left tire was flat and it rolled over into the street(she is ok just scrapes and bruises) I guess it is out of warrenty if in fact she even registered it? I can get the mower to start manually and it will start if I jump the starter I have a little harness for different mowers, but with everything hooked up fuses checked, sitting on seat turn key nothing can the two fuse relays be bad? ow can you check them? I only work on mowers for friends not wanting to get in business just can't seem to puzzle this one out. I believe Collins in Enterprise Al. is the closest dealor to us.

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 8, 2014 by Stan Skaggs
    Question:
My weedeater one 26" riding mower seems to have a carburetor issue in that it runs very draggingly for a few minutes until all at once it kicks into normal operation. I can not run the blade until it "kicks in" bedcause the stress on the running engine will kill it because it is running very poorly at this point, and I have found it best to drive around the yard a couple of time to make it "kick in" to running normal and well. This leads me to believe it is a temp problem in the carburetion somehow. Do you have any suggestions on this or heard of this? I can not take it to a service center, it is under warranty, and I am trying to find what kind of carburetor it is even that I can get parts to fix it with?
    Details:

The unit seems to buildup black soot on the spark plug fairly heavily which I clean off, as I expect it is running rich at first when I start it as mentioned above.  Is there a process sheet or something to check out the catburetor on this model?  Any information would be appreciated..  I can reapair carburetors and stuff easily... I just need information as to nuances of this model.

    Stan
