Warranty Question posted July 21, 2012 by Russ CareyQuestion:I have a weedeater one 26 in riding mower that I have had for a year now. In the first week the brake cable broke which I replaced at a cost of $45.00. Last week I had to replace the mandril assembly at a cost of $53.00, and now the transaxle assembly needs replacing at a cost of $340.00 which I refuse to pay for. It now will not move forward without making a loud grinding noise, though it will go into reverse just fine. I would like to take it in for warranty repairs since it is less than a year old and has less than 20 hours time on it.
The problem is that when calling the companies listed on the service locator I find that while they will service Weed Eater products they will no longer do warranty repairs. I've called the first nine companies listed with no luck and the next one's are in the US so I'm not going to take it across the border for repairs.

I can't find out where to take it to get it fixed under warranty. It was purchased at Walmart and I took it to a local repair center that was listed as a warranty center for WeedEater one products and they said they don't cover weedeater products warranty, even though the website said they would... As usual a runaround...
Please let me know what service center near York, PA 17408 will fix this for me under warranty.
Of course Walmart says it is covered under the manufacturer warranty and they won't help either...
