     Hi Gary,

Sorry your having trouble with your saw. Everything sounds good. I am curious if your checking your spark with a spark tester. This allows the plug to remain in the cylinder to see if it is firing under compression. It only take a 1000v to fire in atmospheric pressure compared to 8-10000v to fire in the cylinder. Assuming you are it sounds like your having a fuel delivery issue. Try spraying WD-40 or carb. cleaner in the intake to see if it will fire off that. If it does, you are not getting fuel to the carb. I know you took the carb. apart to clean it. It's possible it was not assembled correctly. What are the high and low speed settings? Your carb. needs to be adjusted by a certified repair facility to have that set up proper. EPA mandates this and can not be performed by the general public. You didn't mention your air gap for the coil and flywheel. The proper air gap is 0.3mm. Also check the gap on the plug, that is 0.5mm. These affect timing and could also be part of the problem. That is not your serial number that is a SKU/Product number. Your serial should be on the same tag. Hopefully this has helped. If your still having issues you need to get into your local dealer. Without having the saw right in front of me it's hard to say what could be wrong.

     Hi Milton,

The "mulcher plug" is what you lift out of the way to install the bagger. The closed door when not bagging effectively makes it a mulching system. It is shown in the parts breakdown 532 41 06-03 and the description is calling it a defelctor. Hope this helps. Thanks for using our products.

    Hi Eric,

Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. Husqvarna does not sell any parts direct. You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales, service, parts and manuals using the link. /images/us/homeowner/home/ . You must contact your local Husqvarna Service center for any and all parts and service as well as pricing. Any Husqvarna dealer should be able to order parts as needed. All units are sold through either national retailers or local dealers and as such they control the retail pricing. Unfortunately we do not have direct information on who carries what units/parts. Any of the dealers should be able to order this for you. You may find the product is available at many national retailers.

Always try GOOGLE for your model or part # (drop the spaces and dashes) and you can find out a lot of information about your unit or distributors trying to sell you parts.

You can also try these websites: www.ordertree.com or www.jackssmallengines.com or www.searspartsdirect.com

Hope this helps. Thanks for using our products and have a great day.

     Hi Danny,

There should be a tag on the saw. It's possible the tag was removed. You should at least see where the tag was orginally. As these are riveted on the saws. You could try getting it into your local Husqvarna dealer they might be able to help you ID it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the question. The first number on the older saws is the last number of the year. Here is an example 510263. That serial would make this saw a 1985 or 95 year model depending on the color of the top of the saw made in the tenth week of the year. We have used three colors thru the years. The 70's are white. the 80's are black and the 90's till present are orange. We started using double digits in 2000. Those serial numbers start with 00. So a 2008 model would be 0812345.

Click here to view the FAQ answer on serial number format at the Husqvarna customer support portal. Hope this helps.

     Hi George,

The deck is still available but there is a long lead time. The reason is this is a fabricated deck and are only made when there is a production run at the factory. I would suggest getting the dealer to go ahead and order it as it helps to generate a need to make the decks. The deck will never be made for any kind of stocking level at warehouse. Hope this helps.

     Hi Keith,

I stand corrected. I found your model on the internet. /pdf/ddoc/PARI/PARI2009_AAaa/PARI2009_AAaa__532424406.pdf  . Your blade part# 539113233. This is not a domestic mower so we didn't have access to it thru our normal portals.

     Hi Keith,

We regret we cannot identify your unit by the model number you noted.

Please double-check the I D label on the unit for proper model, serial, and product numbers.

If you are unable to get the proper information, we would sugest you deliver the unit to an area Husqvarna service & parts dealer to get the correct replacement part(s).

You can find dealers in your area through the Dealer Locator link on the website. /images/us/homeowner/home/

    Hi Howard,

The larger wheels help to stabilize the mower and make it easier to push. Less rolling resistance. They also work better than the small wheels if your yard is not completely level.

    Brian,

Starting issues are no more common with this particular unit than really any regardless of manufacturer. There are any number of issues that could cause a starting issue, many of them could be engine related, or related to bad old fuel, improper maintenance etc. Other issues could be caused by electrical systems or even an improperly maintained battery. It would be hard tp say as each situation is different. The engine is manufactured by a third party ie. Briggs and Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler etc.... Any known engine issues would be directed thru the respective manufacturer. We have no known issues for these models. Hope this helps.

    Charles,

We will be passing off the information regarding a lack of a category for snow throwers to the folks that manage Answer Army, so hopefully there will be one soon. There are any number of reasons that your snow thrower will not start. Given the multitude of issues that could be causing this issue I would highly recommend that you take the unit to a dealer near you to have it evaluated to find out what is wrong with it, below is a link that should enable you to find a dealer near you:  /pdf/service-locator/  . Hope this helps.

Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. Sorry you had problems with your blower. Your owners manual does state not to mix more than a 30 day supply and there is link on our website concerning ethanol and your machines running on them. /images/us/home/ . your warranty is against defects in material and workmanship. Not against outside elements brought in by the consumer. Hopefully this clarifies our warranty policy for you.

A chainsaw can run many types and lengths of bar and chain. The best way to ensure that you get the correct parts is to take the saw in to your nearest local Husqvarna Dealer. I am attaching the locator to help you find the ones that are closest to you by zip code. They will have to look at it so they can determine the pitch and gauge of the bar and chain to match the one that you need for your saw. Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. Here is the link to the Dealer locator: /images/us/dealers/dealer-locator/  . Hope this helps.

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna. It the saw had been used for a rental, it would be evident by the saw's condition. Even if the saw had been cleaned, it would have nicks or gashes in the saw that you could see if you look at the saw. If the only thing that you see wrong with it is a little bit of dust, it may have been a display unit. We can look to see if there has been any warranty claims against the serial number, but if it was sold new, it probably is. The main concern is that you keep your receipt if any warrantable repairs arise. The difference between the two is the length and the gauge. A H46 chain is a .050" gauge and the H48 is a .058". That saw could be ordered with either length bar on it. Hope this helps.
