     Hi Keith,

Yes there is an upgrade kit available if your mower is a 2007 and newer model. You would need to get to a dealer to have it and all the necessary software installed. As they have access to the necessary upgrades needed before the install can be performed. The 260 ACX is tentatively scheduled for arrival here in the states in 2013. Hope this helps.

     Hi Robert,

Sorry your having trouble with your trimmer. You might have already returned it by now. You could have found your local service center thru the website you used to get here. /images/us/dealers/dealer-locator/ I would have exchanged it immediately anyway as it was not right when you got it. You didn't do business with us as you purchased the product from a third party. That's why we recommend buying from a reputable dealer in your area. Some times you get what you pay for and in this case was a poor representation of our product.  We are sorry for your troubles and hope you continue to use our products.

     Hi Richard,

Thanks for using our products. Sorry your having some troubles with your mower. Unfortunately there is a 360 degree chance for the blade to stop somewhere in it's rotation when being shut off. I would let it run and clear itself out before shutting the blade off. It also sounds like your grass may be wet or very succulent (ie clumping) which is not allowing the grass to fall back to the ground as designed. I don't know what type of grass you are cutting or how short but these can have an affect on how well your mower performs. Your second issue is just a fact of physics when you have a solid machine with fixed wheels. Like a see saw on a fulcrum your going to have a balance point in certain situations. Which would cause one wheel to be off the ground at some point. I would talk to your local dealer that is your best point of contact for any issues you might be having. If you would like to speak with someone else. You can call our consumer line 1-800-487-5951. Hope this helps.

    Cynthy,

That program ended in 2011. You must have gotten last years model to have that card. You need to get into a dealer to see if they can order you one.

     Hi George,

I would recommend getting to the dealer in your area. There is a baffle across the front of mower that is supposed to contain everything under the deck.

     Hi Chuck,

There were two GTH 26K54 models that year one had a fabricated deck. Assuming yours does not,  that tractor weighs approximately 500 lbs. All we have is the shipping weight but the packaging only weighs 60-75 lbs. If yours does add about 70 lbs. Hope this helps.

     Hi Rich,

Thank you for using our products. In regards to the two issues you brought up.

#1 This engine is made by Briggs and Stratton. If you have an issue with anything concerning the engine you would need to contact them.I own several pieces of equipment that have the same two tabs holding the gas caps on and have had no problems.

#2 These mowers are designed for the average homeowner not commercial use and as such might not handle the demands asked of them when used as such. Most of your problems seem to be coming from your employees and how they are using/treating your equipment. That's why I was an owner/operator as nobody takes care of your equipment like you do. They didn't buy it so they usually don't have as much concern over how it's taken care of.

Husqvarna does not sell any parts direct. You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales, service, parts and manuals using the link. /images/us/homeowner/home/ . You must contact your local Husqvarna Service center for any and all parts and service as well as pricing. Any Husqvarna dealer should be able to order parts as needed. All units are sold through either national retailers or local dealers and as such they control the retail pricing. Unfortunately we do not have direct information on who carries what units/parts. Any of the dealers should be able to order this for you. You may find the product is available at many national retailers.

Always try GOOGLE for your model or part # (drop the spaces and dashes) and you can find out a lot of information about your unit or distributors trying to sell you parts.

     Hi Kevin,

I'm sorry your having trouble with your saw. Unfortunately sounds like you need your carburetor adjusted or cleaned. This has to be performed by an authorized service center due to EPA regulations. You can find your local servicing dealer here. /images/us/dealers/dealer-locator/ .

     Hi Rob,

Anthony is correct that is the tank vent. Oil is not supposed to be coming out of there. You might be having a problem with your oiler. The "paper test" should show some signs of oil being put on the chain. If your not very mechanically inclined I would recommend getting your saw into a shop to have them replace or repair the oiler. If your worm gear is damaged it requires a special tool to be changed. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry I didn't address your oiler issue. Make sure your oil tank is filled crank the saw up. Once it warms up hold the throttle wide open. Point the tip down towards the log/tree your cutting. You should see some oil being thrown on it. If not then it is not oiling. You would need to get into a servicing dealer to have them repair it for you.

     Hi Mr./Ms. Bena,

It's possible you may have at some point pinched the chain and damaged bar trying to remove it from being "stuck". Refer to your manual for proper tightening procedures. /pdf/customer-support/user-manuals/  Loosen bar nuts, lift up on nose of bar and while holding it there adjust chain tension, then tighten bar nuts firmly. Bar and chains are not that expensive and if you have never replaced your chain now would be a good time to do both. Make sure your chain brake is OFF before removing cover. If this is something  you don't feel comfortable doing you will need to get it into a servicing dealer. You can find one here. /pdf/service-locator/ .

     Hi John,

If your experiencing a high speed wobble you probably need to look at replacing some parts (ie bearings) in the end of the cutting arm. You should not have any or very minimal radial play in the bearings where you mount the blade on the shaft. Being a demo unit it is very likely that these parts have reached their service limits. It can be dangerous to operate a piece of equipment that has become worn thru use. Please repair or get your cutter into a servicing dealer to have it looked at. Hope this helps.

    Hi Chris,

Thank you for using our products. That is your chain guide and is meant to keep your chain on your bar. It is a wearable and replaceable part. It is very low cost and would prevent damage to your saw, bar and possibly even you. I would replace it. Your part # should be 501 51 72-01.

Husqvarna does not sell any parts direct. You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales, service, parts and manuals using the link. /images/us/homeowner/home/ .      Hi David,

Sorry your having trouble with your saw.  A scored piston can occur from a number of things. While you say the service center states it may be set to lean from the factory that could be easily proved be finding out what exactly the carburetor settings are set. We produce 1000's of these chainsaws and if we were setting them to lean we would have more issues like yours happening all over the world. Random accusations from a service center doesn't necessarily make them true. That being said a scored piston and cylinder can be caused by a great many things (ie lean settings, air leak, a dull chain, clogged cooling fins, old/stale fuel, wrong/cheap oil, etc... and can happen very quickly in less than a tank of fuel. The biggest threat nowadays comes from the fuel being provided at your local gas station. Most gas has at least 10% ethanol and any more than that will void your warranty. Ethanol can be very damaging to your engine. It has alcohol in it which draws in moisture, washes the oil film off cylinder walls and deteriorates fuel lines and diaphragms in the fuel system. Your owner manual states not to mix fuel that isn't going to used up in 30 days so it is also to your benefit use whats in the machine or put a fuel stabilizer in it. I recommend to everyone I talk to to buy premium gas for their two stroke machines as the average homeowner uses about two gallons of gas a year of mixed gas. It usually has less additives added to it and the cost is low for a little extra insurance to protect your engine. You said you've already escalated it to our corporate warranty division I hope they can help you. I just want you to know not every failure is a warranty issue.
