Hey Ken, Thanks for your response. I just picked mine up from the dealer, they continue to tell me this is normal. They have a rental unit that they ran next to mine and it does the same thing. I just can't accept the fact that this is "normal". I've been around and worked on gas engines for a living for the last 30+ years. To me, the way these run is unacceptable. I assumed Husqvarna was a higher quality product, guess I assumed wrong. I don't believe this is an air/fuel ratio issue. This is an over sensitive governor issue. There has to be a way to "desensitize" this governor. I will continue to work to find a cure for this concern and if/when I find it I will let you know. It may not be until spring as the soil here is starting to freeze. Running this tiller is just plain annoying! I refuse to throw $900 down the drain on this crap product. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it. I'll keep you posted. Terry
I was just about to do some reading on governor operation and adjustments. I agree with you as this probably being a governor issue more that an air fuel ratio issue. Thanks for your help! Terry
Thanks for your response. I did try it with the choke in various positions and it didn't make any difference. I too assumed it was too lean. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm a 30 year gas engine drivability tech for Ford so gas engines and carbs are nothing new for me. But when it comes to small engines and governors I'm out of my area of expertise.
Hey Ken, just wondering if you ever got this issue resolved? I'm having the exact same problem. Thanks Terry.
