Have a Z5426 which had a safety interlock issue. One lever...escalated
Service & Maintenance Question posted May 18, 2012 by mark b
    Question:
Have a Z5426 which had a safety interlock issue. One lever switch was cracked it looked like the obvious fix. I replaced it but engine would still stall when disengaging either lever or parking brake. I taped both lever switches down and had to disconnect the brake linkage so I can run with the brake lever up but have the actual brake disconnected in order to cut my grass. With all three switches in the "safety postion", I can get my machine to run as it should but would prefer to fix the actual problem. The seat switch still appears to function since when running with blades going, the motor turns off when lifting off the seat...

My question is are there any other switches involved besides the four I mention above (two lever, one brake, one seat) to check? I was planning on replacing the brake switch but don't know what to do next if that fails...any opinions? DIY is preferred due to a tight budget. Thanks!

    Question:
I bought a RZ4219 3 weeks ago. After the 3rd one hour mowing the back side of deck belt wore out. I suspect the tensioner pully pivot is haging-up. So it did not tension the belt properly causing the belt to wear out on backside due to rubbing on the keepers. I have bought a new belt. What do I need to do to loosen the pivot on tensioner pully so it won't hang-up? Do I put some oil on the pivot or is the nut to tight on the pivot? I need an answer before I put on the new belt and ruin the belt. The belts are so expensive.

    Question:
I recently purchased an RZ5424 and the first two times cutting my lawn I had no issues. Today I started to cut for the third time and my tractor began blowing the 7.5 amp PTO fuse. I have replaced it, and start to cut, and within seconds the fuse blows again. Can anyone please help with this issue?

new Husqvarna 4623 zero turn mower deck leveling problems....escalated
Service & Maintenance Question posted May 10, 2012 by Taylor Renda
    Question:
new Husqvarna 4623 zero turn mower deck leveling problems. The Deck was not leveled properly when purchased and I can not get it right for the life of me. The problem seems to be with the two front leveling Nuts. When alligned parrallel to the mower, the right blade is over an inch and a half lower than the left if the adjustment bolts are equally, making it impossible to level. If i Tighten the right nut in an attempt to bring it level with the left side, it is tightened so much so that it pulls away the rod holding the deck to the left adjustement nut. This makes the left adjustment nut useless as it is not pulling or pushing the rod. Now the front tips are equal but the left rear tip is 1/4 ich lower than the front and the front cannot be lowered. HELP!!!

Saturday, 4/21/12, my motion control went out, and I cannot
drive forward or reverse with the mower. The engine and
mower blades are running fine, but the motion control is
gone. What is your suggestion as to what has happened to the motion controls ? Please advise the next step for me to get
the mower repaired. Thanks for the advice.

Service & Maintenance Question posted April 16, 2012 by Ronald Schmiege
    Question:
I have a new RZ4623 and the drive belt that powers the hydrostatic drive motors keeps jumping off the pulleys when I turn at slow speed. I asked this question in the Warranty section but I have not received a workable answer from the factory reps. I am an auto engineer so understand what is going on mechanically. I know the belt is not damaged nor or the pulleys damaged or misaligned. The only thing I can see is the spring that preloades the idler pulley is not putting enough tension on the belt to keep it from developing a wave and jumping off the pulleys. I tried to get the factory to send me a new spring but it looks like that will never happen. They want me to take it to the Lowes I bought it from, the one that left the seat interlock connecter unplugged and the pivot bolts out of the seat. Do any of you guys have any thoughts?

    Fuse locations on iz6125escalated

    Question:
    Fuse locations on iz6125
    Details:

I have a zero turn iz6125 and can not find the fuse location for this model.  The unit will not do anything when I turn the key to start - I have checked all the arm postions / safety switches / parking brake and they are in the correct position to start the unit so i am wondering if I have blown a fuse ( the hour meter is visable and the batter is new).

    Question:
I recently purchased a Husqvarna Mower MZ5225ZT and cannot find a mulch kit for it. Do you have a part # ?
Also after using my mower for the first time, I rinsed it off with a garden hose and much to my suprise the paint on the frame started to flake off. Is this covered under my warranty?

    Thanks!!
