    Question:
My Husqvarna PZ60 is nearing 3 years old. This year, it has decided not to crank when it has been used for an hour or more. After overnight cool down everything is fine. I am in the process of trying to map the wiring with 2 copies of the wiring diagram, one Key off and one with key in run. Unfortunately the one in the owners manual does not provide values for each circuit in either position. I'm not a geniuse when it comes to wiring but I want to figure out whats hot and what's not when it fails to start. WHAT IS A SEAT TIMER and WHAT IS ITS purpose?

Husqvarna Z 246 zero turn mower will not crank.2
Service & Maintenance Question posted September 10, 2018 by Donald George`
    Question:
Husqvarna Z 246 zero turn mower will not crank.
    Details:

I have 29 hours on my Husqvarna Z 246 Zero turn mower.  Purchased in 2016. Until this week it performed flawlessly.  I cut the grass last week and then drove it into the garage and parked it.  This week It will not start, the engine will not crank over.   I have the steering levers in the outboard position and I'm sitting on the seat. With the key in the "on" position, the PTO switch clicks on and off normally.  With the key in the "headlight" position, the head light comes on.

The battery is fully charged; if I cross the solenoid the engine will turn over with vigor so I know it is not the starter. When I turn the key to "start", I have 12.5 volts to the yellow wire on the spade terminal of the solenoid. I tested the solenoid independently and it functions correctly, i.e., (I put 12 volts to the two blade terminals on the solenoid and the engine will crank but not start).

I have tested both lever safety switches with a continuity tester and if I'm testing them correctly they seem to be good. The seat switch seems to be good when tested.  I am out of options for things to test. It just doesn't make sense.

    Any ideas?

    Question:
Zero Turn 246i with SmartSwitch, Endurance Briggs and Stratton, Less than 15hrs.

After cutting lawn, I heard a loud buzzing sound from engine area. I determined it was coming from Starter. I lifted seat and disconnected Negative Cable and buzzing stopped... While seat was in raised position, I touched Battery Negative and the motor started to spin. I let mower sit overnight and now, when i touch negative nothing happens. Any idea what happened to the starter/bendix while i cut grass and "locked" it in the start engine mode? Hope my explanation helps...

    Question:
I recently purchased a Z254F zero turn mower and would like to buy a set of replacement blades. However searching (even on the Husqvarna site)for 582760501 (the PN listed in the Parts Manual) gives no results even on the Husqvarna site. These are 18-1/4" blades. Where can I purchase a set?

    Oil on electric MagStop Clutch/Brake5
Service & Maintenance Question posted July 8, 2018 by Ronald Cox
    Question:
    Oil on electric MagStop Clutch/Brake
    Details:

My Husquvarna CZ4817 lost 3 engine mounting bolts causing a slight rotation of engine on mower deck. This slight rotation caused the oil drain tube (tube with 90 degree elbow hanging down into the hole in the deck) to start hitting the edge of hole because of engine vibrations. (I do not know how long this has been happening but I have a series of issues which I am trying to rectify;) The vibrations led to the oil drain tube from the engine to actually break while I had the engine running just to check on another problem (overheating and shutting off?) Ran engine at high speed about 15 minutes - all ok. Then went to lower speed and wanted to actually drive mower to see if it shuts down again. That is when I noticed engine oil all over mower deck and floor. Was able to get remaining threads from oil drain pipe out and inserted new pipe.

Problem: Oil ran all over mower deck and ran thru deck holes onto the electric clutch. I know oil on a clutch does not work. Took a screwdriver and paper towel into space where clutch is and was wiping oil from the clutch surfaces. Wanted to remove clutch and hand clean better. Can you spray solvent/alchol of some type to clean clutch surface? Could not get clutch off so how do you do this? In case I have to buy a new clutch. Could not get crescent wrench on ring with the flat sides while trying to unloosen attaching bolt.

    Thanks for your time.
