I have a IZ4217. I am trying to replace my drive belt. I can't figure out how to get the new belt past the bracket next to the bottom pulley toward the rear of the tractor. As I'm sure you know the bottom pulley is for the blade belt. There is an electrical connection in between the ump per and lower pulleys.
The bracket I'm talking about bolts to the frame and the bottom of the motor.

    Thanks

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 6, 2012 by ANTHONY NALLS
I just purchased a RZ4623 4 days back June 3, 2012 , and cut my grass the first time same day . Two days after cutting I have noticed several brown burned spots in my lush green yard, it looks like something has sprayed out. Not sure if gas or oil I made visual once over on mower and do not see any leaks. What could this be, gas leak, oil leak, or some sort of blow back maybe out muffler?
Grass is not burnt from turning or driving of mower I have several years commercial experience on zero turns, nor from deck height being to low, deck was set very high barely clipped tops
Any insight on what I need to look for would be deeply appreciated.

Service & Maintenance Question posted May 20, 2017 by Adam Doubler
I own a Z246 zero turn mower and recently when I was mowing, it just stopped in place like I got caught on something. I ended up turning it off and moved it back some, but after I got it moved, there wasn't anything there that it could have got caught on. When I started it back up, it would not move at all. The engine starts up great and the blades engage just fine. I found out that the drive belt came off and I got it put back on correctly, but the mower still won't move forward or reverse. I've checked everything I could think of and nothing is loose, disconnected, or broken that I can see. The steering levers do feel like they are a little tighter to move than before. Is it something simple I'm overlooking or did some major part(s) go bad on me and it will need to be serviced?

    Thanks,
    Adam

RZ5426 suddenly has almost no power to the rear wheels. It will barely climb up a gentle incline. What does that usually stem from?

Service & Maintenance Question posted April 10, 2017 by Darryl Gibson
I have a Husqvara MZ6128 zero turn I bought about 3 years ago & I'm having problems with it starting after I've used it. For example, I mowed for about 15 min., turned off the mower, tried to start it a few min. later & it wouldn't start. I kept trying to start it a few more times later in the day & it wouldn't start but the next morning it started right up. This happens to me almost every time I try to restart the mower after recently using it. I've had the dealership look at it twice for this & they can't find anything wrong with it. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

I have a RZ5424. I had to replace the idler pulley for the hydraulics. I cannot find a diagram for this pulley. The parts manual has a diagram of sorts, but its difficult to follow. As soon as I get the belt back on and engage the levers the belt slips off. I'd like to verify I have the belt on correctly. Is there a specific diagram on the hydraulics belt?

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 20, 2010 by Freddie
I purchased a Husqvarna zero turn 54 inch cut Model RZ5424 / 965881301. I am very satisfied with the performance except after 6.8 hours of operation the blades are completely worn out. Out of the 3 blades only one still has the fan attached, the rest are missing. The deck is set at the mid range and the cutting height is about the same as I normally cut. Having to replace the blades after only 6.8 hours of service is unsatisfactory! I am operating the mower with the throttle wide open as directed by the manual so I suspect the blades are turning at a high rate of speed. The deck is set in the mid range as far as height. What am I doing wrong as I am sure the service life of the blades is much more than 6 hours? Is there a heavy duty blade that I should use?
