Warranty Question posted September 4, 2015 by Charles Abbott
    Question:
I purchased my mower July 13, 2013. It has 71 howers of mowing on the PTO hour meter. I have a half acre yard. The mower started to run poorly three weeks ago towards the end of my forty minute mowing time for my yard. I mowed a few days ago and the engine would start to sputter and the mower would slow down, then rev back up. As soon as I disengage the PTO for the blades mower runs fine. I'm ASSuming the bearing is going out on the clutch. It was August 28, 2015. I guess that means I'm out of warranty? I believe it has a two year warranty for residential use. VERY LITTLE residential use.

    Thanks,

    Charles Abbott

    Question:
I recently purchased a Z254F mower with a Kohler engine from Amazon that was DOA. When I tried to start the engine, the starter would not engage and it blows the fuse. Our local dealer, L&S Small Engine Repair, refuses to do warranty work on items bought on line. Is this a Husqvarna poilicy? How do I get my mower repaired?

Warranty Question posted March 26, 2014 by P.D. Smith Jr.
    Question:
Why can't you ship me a $22 part that failed in less then one year. This z turn mower has been used six times since June of 2013. Stored in a barn out of the weather over our short winter in N. Fl.. It's 54" wide, maybe 800#. The Idler sheave took 5 min. to remove & 5 min. to install. Your policy ruined hopes of me buying another one of your products.
    Really PISSED, Dave Smith

Handles are not even. Cannot drive full speed.

    Question:
Handles are not even. Cannot drive full speed.
    Details:

Z254F only 4 hours on it.  Bought this to save me time but seems the handles are not alligned properly.  I see the nut / bolt on the base of the handles to adjust for reach but its not that.  When I push the left handle all the way forward and bring the right handle to the same even position it drives straight and cuts great.  Only thing is I can tell its not driving full speed.  The right handle will move about an inch farther forward and then the mower takes off and moves much quicker,  Issue being im not mowing in a circle so with the right handle being farther forward i drive with a slight left turn when moving fast.    Whats the easiest way to have this corrected without hauling it an hour back to the store.

    Question:
At what point does my mower just get returned for good?

I purchased a brand new RZ5425 on July 5, 2014 on August 25, I had to have it serviced because it quit running. The machine had 8.6 hours on it. I had to pust a $3000 dollar lawn mower back to the house and push it on to a trailer. I had it serviced and the list was a half page long of what was wrong with it. New push rod, new gaskets, 2 new spark plugs, Rt hand cylinder adjustment nuts for valve loosend up, In sported all valves and readjusted, Replaced bent push rod (intake. That was the first service now I get it back and run the machine and the mower will not turn off. It now has 11.5 hours on it. I have spent more hours running it back and forth do the service center than mowing my grass. When is enough? I am extremley disappointed in this machine.

HUWRZ5424 early life electrical issue... serial number...escalated
Warranty Question posted December 14, 2012 by Gary Graham
    Question:
HUWRZ5424 early life electrical issue... serial number 072611C00. Purchased on 10/4/12 from Western Small Engines in Pell City, Alabama. The mower has been used only twice to cut grass, and after sitting a couple of weeks, the battery was drained. I attempted to jump start, but it was obvious that something is wrong because the starter seems to be engaged, even before turning the key switch. I searched the Answer Army forum and did not see posts matching this symptom. Please let me know the best way to get this issue fixed.
