Service & Maintenance Question posted September 2, 2013 by Kyung PiI used the Husqvarna hedge trimmer-128LD since I bought it at Lowe on March,2010. I cannot couple the upper shaft with the lower shaft all of sudden. The locking/release button of lower shaft would not position into the primary hole of the upper shaft. I've only used it a couple times and it always started like a champ - no problems. I asked my son about a month ago to trim the hedges, but he couldn't start the hedger. I assumed maybe it was flooded, but now I can't even start the thing. The starting instructions are very easy to follow, and I have followed them to the T. I can't even get the engine to crank over.
I have a Husqvarna chainsaw and have never had a problem with it that's why I bought the hedger. - Service & Maintenance Question posted August 10, 2013 by Martin LennoxI have a fuel problem with my 326hd60 Hedge Trimmer. After a while the unit begins running poorly and if I take the fuel cap off the gas will boil out of the tank. I believe the fuel is getting too hot and boiling, we call it Vapor Lock in my antique car. I use this gas in other 2-stroke engines and have no trouble. Is there a way to correct this, maybe run a longer fuel line, or gas made and sold for 2-stroke use?

- Service & Maintenance Question posted September 12, 2014 by Chuck AndersonI have a new 327HE4 Hedge Trimmer ... Worked fine out of the box. But after 3 uses the following happens. The motor starts and runs fine ... when I squeeze the throttle, the blades start but after a few seconds something bogs down, causing the motor to stall ... I can rotate the blades at the gear head using an allen wrench. Something between the grearhead and the clutch is sticking or jammed ... have not attempted any disassembly ... no manual

First time I started it up it took about 2 minutes at full throttle to get the blades to engage. the next time they engaged much sooner, and there after no more problem. What I am more worried about is that since those initial starts, it will not run more than 30 minutes at a time before having to adjust the carburetor. What happened? It was working great for the first 6 hours. Then it would start fine but as soon as you give it throttle it dies. You can do this over and over but it will not handle giving it any throttle. We took a closer look and found the fuel line was not attached to the fuel tank, we reattached it and that seems to work. and it still would only idle. We bought a carburetor adjustment tool and adjusted the carburetor. worked for 30 minutes before, once again not handling any throttle. Adjust the carburetor, and it worked! Until it was taken out in the field and used for 30 minutes. The same thing all over again. Brought it back and adjusted the carburetor. Another 30 minutes and had to adjust again. Since we live in a mountain community the need for hedge trimming doesn't exist until mid to late July. Our warrant is close to expire and I would like to resolve this before it expires.

326HE4X and it worked for about 5 minutes, then hit a larger
branch and just stopped working.
there is no material jammed inbetween the blades, but
the blades do not go back and forth.
the engine still runs perfectly.
does anyone know what this might be?
is it at all related to the gear bevel? (which seems to turn and turn but go nowhere)
