General Product Question posted January 11, 2013 by Rory (Georgia)
    Question:
Wow....I keep surfing your site and others... AGAIN, I ask... Why is there so little information on the Husqvarna 450 Rancher?

Even on this site, under your own site you list all these 450's & Rancher units under your tag search options....but, no 450 Rancher?

    450
    450 50th Anniversary Edition
    450 e-series
    455 e-series Rancher
    455 Rancher
    460 Rancher

I've called... was told to come to this site, that was the only way to get my questions answered.... That didn't satisfy me, so I asked the first tier support to escalate my call to a supervisor. I then spoke with Ron B., who made me feel a little better about this purchase and emailed me a comparison chart, but the lack of information readily available on this model has me quite concerned. Nobody in this Army of Answers can answer the current questions posted on this model?

What is this... some sort of "no customer service" cost saving initiative to cut back on real people taking calls and really giving people the support they are seeking?

    Question:
Yesterday I bought a 20 inch Husqvarna 450 Rancher at Lowe's. However, the manual is for 445, 445e, 450, and 450e - no mention of "Rancher". The same is true of your website. However, there is a 455 Rancher.

So, what is it that I bought? What is unique about "Rancher"? If I want to buy parts for it, I need to know its model number.

    Thank you,
    Stephen Fisher

General Product Question posted March 1, 2016 by Dean Malone
    Question:
Your web site has neither a phone number nor email address to follow up when there are issues. That is completely unacceptable. I had to search the internet to find a phone number.

I spoke to two representatives who contradicted me on this point. The first actually tried to find it and then acknowledged that I was correct. The second refused and simply offered an apology. I was not at all convinced that they cared enough to actually follow up with your IT.

The issue in the first place is that your warranty registration page would not complete properly - even though there was valid data in each of the red-* fields were properly filled in. It turns out there is an unflagged check box that I needed to check. You should fix this. I uploaded a PDF of the page.

The bottom line is that you have frustrated me as a company and left a bad taste in my mouth. I will think twice before buying another of your products.
