Warranty Question posted October 12, 2012 by william gilbert
    Question:
I bought a model 365 last november and have had nothing but problems with it. I have cut wood for 35 years and this is by far the worse saw I have ever had. It has been in being fixed for a total of 6 weeks. Is there any way I can trade it in for a new saw?

    Thanks

    Bill

Warranty Question posted October 11, 2012 by John Butzler
    Question:
bought model 445 husqvarna s/n 08400052 in November 2008, saw worked great, have maybe 2-3 hrs cutting time and now it does not start. haven't used it for about 1 yr, but it always started right up. Took it to service station and they tell me it has scoring on the cyclinders and the pistons and rings are bad. I bought this tool on high recommendations from professional tree trimmers, needed something I could depend on. I understand there is a 2 year warranty. I am looking for resolution to this problem, talked with Husqvarns and they recommended this website. Is there anything you can do for me. This saw was barely used, you should stand behind this beyond the 2 yrs. I've been in service industry for 25 years, I understand how warranties work. That being said, there are certain circumstances that a factory can change the rules, I know, I've done it!! Maybe there were some defective parts installed in these saw in 2008. I spent a lot of money on this saw because I thought it would last me for a long time. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!

    Respectfully yours

I received a pair of protective chain saw gloves about 2 years ago but did not use them for about 6 months. After about 3 hours of use some of the stitching came out...what can be done about this?

    Question:
I recently bought a leftover 575xp online, and have the warranty paperwork sent with the saw,in the box, seller is apparently not a registered dealer, but has many of these for sale.Is there still a warranty available?Im also told these had a factory problem with the crankshafts, the serial number is 05 1400649,is this one of the saws that may have the crank problem? Thanks,if this has the crank issue, will it be a repairable problem with new crank, etc.?Thanks a bunch,I will wait for your reply before i fuel this and run it,Keith Johnson

    I've been declined warranty service on a 440e chainsaw...escalated
Warranty Question posted September 6, 2012 by Tyler Crowe
    Question:
I've been declined warranty service on a 440e chainsaw that has suffered cylinder scoring due to "improper lubrication." I was only able to use it three times before it died and the fuel mix was never more than three to four weeks old. I always used Husqvarna 2-stroke oil. I need this chainsaw for my work and the downtime hurts. How can this be resolved?
