My Husqvarna 128LD has recently started rotating while in use. The engine and trimmer head are no longer in alignment. The rotation has slowly been advancing during use, and has now reached the point that the fuel filler cap is pointing straight down during trimmer operation, resulting in leakage and erratic operation. There's no obvious loose point to rotate the unit back into alignment (and then tighten it all back down). How do I rectify this?
I have a Husqvarna HU625HWT. I had to replace the carrier plate & mow ball assembly as they were damaged during use. String couldn't be clipped on the carrier plate b/c the clips were broken off. The mow ball assembly was cracked. I began reassembly but am confused. The locking plate spring had become rusted & stretched so I bought a new one. When removing the old parts the locking plate wasn't doing anything. The locking plate & retaining ring that I took out during disassembly & the new spring aren't currently attached because I have no idea of the right configuration for them. Not sure what they do. I believe the spring on one side attaches to the locking plate but where else does it attach? What does the locking plate do, just sit on top of the carrier plate, or? The assembly diagrams are not specific regarding connections/placement of the parts. Deeply appreciate any help or links to helpful material that can be offered.
323r that only runs when fuel tank is topped off. Once fuel level decreases slightly, trimmer stops running, until you top of the fuel again. Any suggestions?
I just purchased a 322L string trimmer from Lowes. I put it together per instruction with the cutting head guard etc. The machine started with no problem but the cutting head does not turn. I assembled the parts with no problem and everything seems to be ok. I removed the cutting spool and noticed that the drive shaft is not turning. What might be the problem? Need help.
trimmer 128 ld is not getting fuel. replaced primer bulb last week, and it started with one pull, and ran great, all day. this week, it will not start, not getting fuel again. could carb, or filter be clogged now?
323L trimmer head feeds line without bumping. Recently my 323L has been ejecting line whenever it pleases. It will let it out to the point that it contacts the line stop on the guard, which will cause it to pull out even more line. I often have to stop and cut the line shorter. Why is the head doing this, it doesn't look worn or damaged.
