Service & Maintenance Question posted July 15, 2011 by Phil Thomas
I recently purchased 128LD trimmer and am having some issues with it. I picked up some fresh gas and mixed 1 gallon of fuel to the 2.6 ounces of oil included to make the 50:1 mix. The unit was assembled per the instructions. The problem I am having is the RPMs seem to waver at wide open throttle and the unit dies. The throttle response seems to be somewhat sluggish from comparison to other units I have had. What would/could cause these issues on a brand new unit out of the box? Its almost like there is a fuel restriction or possibly a restriction in the air filter. The air filter looks perfect.

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 10, 2014 by Barry Olson
I had to replace the handle trigger on my 125l husqvarna weed eater and now am unable to get it back together correctly. Is there an easy way or diagram for this. Maybe a shop manual etc. I don't know how to put the two springs back in the correct location to put pressure on the two handles. I have the handle completely apart ie split in half at this time.

Dear Answer Army, How to replace the Fuel line in the Gas...escalated2
Service & Maintenance Question posted June 6, 2014 by Walter Hoeck
    Dear Answer Army,
How to replace the Fuel line in the Gas tank on a Husqvarna 235R Brush Cutter. I dismantled the whole trimmer engine. Found that the tank and the engine mount is all one unit. I found the Gas line and the filter loose (not attached to nothing) in the tank. Don't know how the Gas goes to the carburetor. The carburetor has only a return (overflow) line to the thank.
Was reading the whole manual and searched websites for answers; no luck.

    Please help.
Thank you for your time on this matter.
    Sincerely,
    Walter

I have a model 326L X series trimmer 2001-03 year. Needing to put fuel lines on primer bulb and carb. Which is the inlet port and outlet port on carb. It has a Zama carb with port on bottom has sharp bend in it. Other port is on top slight bend near adjustment screws. Which port is which. Bought used and all the fuel lines were missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 10, 2012 by David Hovan
I have a 128LD trimmer and the starter cord is not engaging. First the cord would not retract. When I disassembled the 3 screws and I touched the cord assembly, it retracted. However, when I try to re-attach the cord assembly and pull the cord, it is not engaging. I can pull the cord without resistance. What are next steps to get this fixed. I have beeen down for two weeks, so I need some help.

    Spark Plug Replacement. The 223L Owner's Manual...1
Service & Maintenance Question posted May 27, 2015 by Mischul Brownstone
    Spark Plug Replacement.
The 223L Owner's Manual suggests replacing the spark plug after about a month in operation (or earlier if necessary). Is this literally one month after first use or after about a month's worth of use?
And are they only talking about the first month of operation when the machine is new or every month?

I have a Husqvarna 223L string trimmer.. I had to take apart the throttle assembly and cannot figure out how to put the spring back in (the spring that goes near the throttle trigger). I found, online, parts breakdowns but they did not show exactly what each end of the spring attatched to.
    thanks, Amy

I've asked twice now via your website concerning my new Husqvarna trimmer 128CD. I still haven't received an answer. Since I first started it, it has a horrible sound from the engine as if there were no beairings in it. All I want to know is if this is a normal sound??????
It works great but I don't want a piston flying out at me down the road.
I bought it at Lowe's but I don't feel they have anyone with the knowledge to recognize and tell me if this is normal.

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 14, 2011 by dzcinci
I have a 128LD trimmer. I cannot get the trimmer attachment to fit into the shaft. I have changed attachments many times without issue, but now the pressable button will not reach the hole in the shaft. Is there a common failure/adjustment which is needed?
