Question:I purchased a Muffler cover since mine cracked. I need the instructions on how to replace it. Model PP133. I would liked to get hold of a repair manual. Is there a PDF?- Question:Worst customer service I have ever seen. No responses at all. I have asked question reference to pole trimers several times in last two weeks and no response from Poulan, and can not get thru on phone.Lousy support. Have a new Poulan Pro PP258TP pole saw. This is second one in two weeks. Starts up fine, but will not accelerate when pulling throtle to actuate saw. Stalls out every time. Any suggestions other than turn this one back in too.

Does it appear that my string trimmer would be covered under the original warranty for this product for the problem listed below?
If the following problem can not be corrected, is there any way I can return this string trimmer or get a refund? I also purchased the edger attachment for this string trimmer which also cuts great when the string trimmer is working properly.
I purchased a Poulan Pro string trimmer Model # PP335 966062901 6/14/2011. I've had to bring it in to the repair shop twice already because it would not start. The problem was corrected the first time by adjusting the carburetor. The second time the problem was corrected by changing the spark plug which had become corroded apparently from the fuel mixture.
Yesterday the string trimmer started but died whenever I tried to cut with it. Both the air filter and spark plug were covered with gas/oil mixture. The 2 previous times I used the string trimmer, my clothes smelled strongly of the string trimmer fuel mixture-this had never happened previously.
My questions: Why is the gas/fuel mixture fouling the air filter and spark plug? Is there anything that can be done to permanently correct the problem? Why do my clothes smell like fuel mixture after using the Poulan Pro?
I love the way this stringtrimmer cuts when it's working but I don't want to have gas all over my clothes after I use it nor do I wish to keep returning to my authorized service dealer for repairs. I purchased this trimmer 4/2010 and it never work right from day one Walmart replaced it once but no longer carry this model. The reason I purchased this model was I could switch out the trimming head to other attachments that I purchased separately like the tiller. When I call the 800# they refer me back to the place of purchase. How do I get Poulan to stand behind their product?
- Question:I have a PPB 200E trimmer. The starter rope will not retract. I need to repair/replace this mechanism. How do I remove the allen head screw inside the centrifugal clutch drum, so I can get the plastic cover off? What size is the screw and is it right or left hand thread? I'd also like to make a comment. I originally asked this question on your website. Then I created an account to see the answer. Twice, your site has informed me I do not exist in the database, even though it was sending me links and confirmations. I even tried to creat a new account only to be told, by the website, that 'this e-mail address has already been registered' I'm darned if I can figure how I don't exist and do at the same time. This time it let me create a new account, but of course my original question is not there because I had to create a new one. So you may have answered it already, but I will never be able to see the reply.
- Question:All gas that is purchased has Ethynol in in Ga. I have a trimmer model PPB250E. The fuel pick up in the gas tank is made of plastic and became brittle and broke off. No one can repair it. What can you do for me? The trimmer was bought at Walmart 1 1/2 years ago and they say nobody can fix that since it is a product part factory failure.

I received my PP125 a week ago. After using it long enough to use up the factory-loaded line, I attempted to follow the instructions to reload it.
The spool housing/case (it's called different things in the picture and text of Poulan publications) was difficult to remove. Upon finally getting it off I saw that one of the top ridges or flanges was either molded incorrectly or had been forced together assembly, causing the material to deform and make for an excessively tight fit.
I rewound the line per the instructions but the housing does not seat fully because of the deformed flange.
I am attaching a close-up of the messed up top "flange" (?) at least as good as I could do with a phone.
I took the PP125 to the Poulan Pro service locatlon the website locator found nearest to 75472. The service shop advised:
- the damage was due to wear. I stressed this wear was evident the first time I opened the spool housing to reload the line.
- the housing is not available as a separate part
- the solution is for me to buy the complete {head} for my new trimmer, approx $22.
I do like the trimmer and it works well. I believe it would be reasonable for Poulan to warranty this part, shipping a replacement to me. I would be happy to pack the defective housing up and return it for your inspection if you provide a UPS call tag for it.
Due to the prior interaction with the nearest Poulan service center I suspect they will not be a part of the solution.
I had already filled out the warranty information. The Confirmation Number is 140518-000257 if you can pull up my info that way. If not I will provide my contact info, invoice, serial, etc as needed.

- Warranty Question posted September 5, 2013 by David BurkeQuestion:My poulan pro 17" Straight shaft grass trimmer model PP130 was purchased April 1st 2013. I am now having difficulty cranking it. The pull rope has to be pulled almost all the way out before it will start and it has begun to shut down if it is set down for a second. I would like to know if this is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If it is how would I go about using the warranty to fix my trimmer. I really don't know where to start the process at all I have never had trouble with my Poulan products before.
