Service & Maintenance Question posted November 16, 2012 by Tim Keith
    Question:
bought a PP125 weedeater on 10/30/12. Put it together and ran it for a few minutes 2 days later. Everything worked fine. Went to use a week later and it would only run good in the start position. Everytime I switched to the run position it would not accelerate and struggled to stay running. I let it warm up each time, but still didn't work right. Is this covered by the warranty?

    Question:
    Hello,

I'm not sure exactly what section I need to contact someone I could speak with about a NEW Product Idea for not only your string trimmers but all different brand name trimmers. If someone is interested in taking a look of what I have, they can email me with the email provided when signed up.

Thank you and will be waiting for your answer.

    Question:
I bought a PP4285 string trimmer in September this year and used it no trim out my lawn, then I hung it in my garage and the other day I noticed all the oil had leaked out of it so the crankcase was empty.
    What is the problem here?

Why even have a warranty? Its just talk.escalated
Warranty Question posted August 27, 2013 by Charles Browning
    Question:
Why even have a warranty? Its just talk.
    Details:
I bought a new PP325 in June. It worked well once on my property. I went to use it again in early August and it has no power when cutting the grass though it runs. Went to authorized service centers assuming they could handle it under warranty and it needed a carburetor adjustment and they told me good luck. I dont have the receipt. I misplaced it.

Went back to return in the store, sorry its after 30 days cant return it. I call support again. Sorry you dont have a receipt nothing we can do for you.

End of story I have a trimmer that wont cut grass that is 2 months old and could only be repaired out of my pocket. Cant return it. What company only stands behind something for 30 days? Last Poulan product I will ever buy. Should have stuck with Honda.

My poulan pro 17" Straight shaft grass trimmer model...escalated1
Warranty Question posted September 5, 2013 by David Burke
    Question:
My poulan pro 17" Straight shaft grass trimmer model PP130 was purchased April 1st 2013. I am now having difficulty cranking it. The pull rope has to be pulled almost all the way out before it will start and it has begun to shut down if it is set down for a second. I would like to know if this is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If it is how would I go about using the warranty to fix my trimmer. I really don't know where to start the process at all I have never had trouble with my Poulan products before.

Service & Maintenance Question posted June 11, 2013 by richard mcnair
    Question:
Took me the longest time to navigate your web site and be able to sign on but that is another issue.

I was just given a gift of a PP325 trimmer with a brush cutter that I am attempting to install. You "unscrew the trimmer head by turning it clockwise" after stabilizing the gear box/dust cap with a hex wrench or screwdriver. Really? How much pressure do you exert? I took two hands and could not turn it. Your service call center said that should do it well it didn't. Is there a special magic to this?

As a suggestion there were online videos for these products but none on this particular problem.

Parts Question posted August 14, 2012 by David Kelsen
    Question:
I have a PPB 300 trimmer. It is quite old, but still works well. I am considering buying the PP400C Brush Trimmer attachment for it. Because of the age of the trimmer, I wonder if it will mate up properly.
