    Question:
I got a weedeater one for birthday in late june. Since then, it has blown out one tire which cost $55 to replace. Now, the wheels will not turn either way. What gives?? I am very displeased with this mower and we've only used it maybe 5 times. HELP!! What do we do now without spending a fortune
to take it to a lawnmower shop?

    Question:
I am in the military and am living in Okinawa, Japan. I have recently purchased a weedeater One riding mower. The steering adapter is gone bad. It slips and makes steering impossible.
I have read several other posts and I belive the part I need now is the, #23 186737 ADAPTER, STEERING WHEEL. I have two questions:
    1) Has this part been upgraded due to continued problems.
    2) Is there anywhere I can order on line that ship to FPO AP (military PO box), making a 40 dollar phone call to be unsure of a fix is a little disturbing.
    Thanks for you time,
    R/s

Service & Maintenance Question posted October 7, 2010 by Laura Walters, tagged Weed Eater One
    Question:
Weedeater one needs fixed. Falling apart in less then 5 months.
    Details:

I have sent emails to the company with no answer. I've had the weedeater one for 5 months now. (half that time not working)  I'm disabled and need this to be able to take care of my small yard.
The problem is I have had nothing but PROBLEMS since getting this.

First the steering. (fixed and working for now)
Then the chain keeps coming off the gear under the mower.
Now the bracket in the front on the one side keeps bending and one wheel is turned and the other is straight. (So at this point the mower can't be used).

I have already had it in the shop for the chain coming off and for the steering.....  Problem, I don't have the income it takes to keep taking this in for repair (yes they charged me for parts and labor). Second, i don't have a truck to be hauling this back and forth so i have to pay someone to do it for me ( a added cost i can't afford with being on a fixed income).

I wrote the company 3 times with no answer.  I either want this fixed right (at no cost to me (hauling encluded))  Or i would like a refund.   I really expected alot better of a machine from you.   Its the perfect size for fitting thru my gate and for my small yard.... if only it WORKED.

I looked up the part that is bending. Its the straight piece that comes off the 'spindle'  (part # 428033) and connects to 'Link strng LH' (Part # 428035

    Question:
I purchased my Weedeater One serveral months ago. I have used the mower around a 10 -12 times now and I am experiencing a bad vibrating issue. Looking under the mower I recognize a vertical wheel on the rear axle with hardened rubber around the wheel. I believe the manual stated this part was called a mandral. A big portion of this rubber is missing. What are my options for return or repair? Is this covered under the Warranty?

    Question:
My wife is disabled and depends on the weed eater 1 or 621 to mow. Why has the steering problem with that plastic piece of junk not been replaced with something more substantial? We bought it up to SAT just a month ago and already the steering is screwed up. I have taken it apart and can see that it is a bad design for steering, not only on the shaft, but on the wheel connections or tie rod ends. Cheap is not the answer.
At 65 years young, I have zero tolerance for this kind of junk!!!
    Please respond ASAP!!

    Question:
I purchased a Weedeater One WE261 on March 18, 2010. The steering wheel does not work. I am unable to steer or operate this mower. I have been unable to use it now for almost 2 months. I paid $650.00 for this mower, and I know it is under warranty. I purchased it from Wal Mart and I need to know how I can get it fixed?

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 14, 2010 by Joe McCormick, tagged Weed Eater One
    Question:
I just bought the WE261 riding lawnmower. I have not yet used it to mow the lawn. I also have a bad vibration as others have mentioned. The mower runs fairly smooth as long as the blade is not engaged. I took the blade off and went to the local service Center. I was told the blade was balanced perfectly and was not bent. When I got back home I reinstalled the blade and still had the bad vibration when it was engaged. I removed the mandrel cover to check the pullies. They turned freely. I then started the mower up again so I could see what was happening with the belt. Once the blade was engaged, I had the bad vibration. I noticed that the belt was vibrating badly. Is it normal for the belt to vibrate like that?
    Details:

Update on 09-22-2010. Some vibration might be normal, but this was excessive. I drove around my garage for about 5 minutes to remove what little gas was in the tank. The blade was engaged. After it ran out of gas, I noticed my hands were tingling from the vibration.  This  tingling sensation lasted for about 10 minutes.  It did not make sense to take a brand new machine to the service center. I took it back to Wal Mart and got a refund.
