    Question:
I recently purchased a 125B leaf blower. It cranks fine and runs good at half choke. If I open the choke to try and throttle it up, it bogs down and dies. Even if I don’t try to throttle up, it bogs down and dies while at open choke. I use the same fuel mix for a weed eater with no issues, so I don’t think it’s bad fuel.

I noticed at least one other customer was having this same problem. Please email or post a solution to this problem. Thank you.

Warranty Question posted October 9, 2012 by William Bilton
    Question:
(Just got off the phone with Customer Support Mgr Adrian Robinson. He refused to provide me with an authorization number in order to have my 125B Blower serviced. He also refused to let me speak to his manager when he could not answer several of my questions. He actaully stated at one point as he researched the problem that he was actually helping to prove my point!)
He stated that since it was most likely a fuel related problem it would not be covered. I asked him where in the warranty did it state that fuel related problems were not covered. HE STATED IT WASN'T.
He stated the warranty only covered defects in parts/workmanship. I argued that fuel lines, bulbs and filters all have part numbers (Genuine OEM Part - Manufacturer #545081841, #530047721, #530095646)so again why aren't they covered. HE DIDN'T HAVE A ANSWER.
Eventually we got to the hot button topic "Ethanol"! I asked where in the owner's manual did it direct me to treat my fuel for ethanol. HE STATED IT DIDN'T.
I understand the lead time associated with making changes to user's manuals so I asked if Husqvarna placed advisory/warning notices in the box alerting customers to the damaging effects of Ethanol. HE STATED NO SUCH NOTICES/WARNINGS WERE INCLUDED WITH THE 125B.
So I'm wondering "WHY AM I" being required to pay $45 to AMERICAN SERVICE CENTER, 315 WEST PULASKI HWY, ELKTON, MD 21921, (410) 398-0801 to troubleshoot one of your products that has an obvious defect? They stated in the past Husqvarna has issued "Authorization Numbers" to have equipment serviced. I DO NOT believe my request unreasonable and I am once again requesting an authorization number to have my 125B serviced under WARRANTY.
The Blower was purchased on 04-09-2012. Obviously the parts in questions are either defective or have been damaged to the point of failure due to Ethanol additives in gasoline which Husqvarna failed to properly annotate in the paperwork included with the product. Ethanol information on the website proves it's a KNOWN PROBLEM but again I was never instructed by Huaqvarna to refer to their website for product information.
I appreciate your understanding and help resolving this issue as quickly as possible.

Warranty Question posted October 8, 2012 by Dave Kemp
    Question:
I just bought a 150BT Blower and when assembling it I noticed the screw (# 3 page 11 in manual) with the nut and wing nut that tightens the throttle lever clamp was stripped-wing nut was put on wrong at factory, and will can not be used.

How do I get another one ?

I called the number in manual (1800.487.5963) and got recording that said that number was no longer in use, gave this number (1800.448.7543) that number is a dealer number, the recording said call (1800.487.5951) that number disconnects you when you press "2" (and well as "1") for Husqvarna.

    Some help would be appreciated
    thanks

Warranty Question posted November 22, 2011 by Rich Havanec
    Question:
Hi. I purchased a 350BT backpack blower just about a month ago – The unit has never remained operating with the choke closed. Seems to run fine with the choke open, but as soon as I close it the unit stalls (even after using it for an hour+). I originally thought that I just needed to break it in but now I suspect something is wrong with it. I’ve only used it twice, and the gas/oil mix is fresh/correct (even using 93 octane). Is there an easy way to adjust this? I’d hate to have to pay for service since the unit is brand new and it looks like I’m past the 30 days :(

    Question:
contacted your dept. about a warranty problem and jessica hung up on me. thought maybe my problem could be worked out.guess not. thought maybe since my blower was less than a year old and my fuel mixture was correct. we could pro-rate a new blower to keep a customer happy. guess not. just hung up the phone on me. my ticke number was 92875721.. never dealt with a company like this before, that wont help with a product that was less than a year old.how can a product meltdown, when i add a little more than the recemended amount of oil,mix it in a gallon can, only put a gallon of gas in that can. use the container of oil supplied with the product? i went through proper channels to try to get service, was told that i have a piece of junk.

I registered my new blower online but was not given the opportunity to upload my receipt to get credit for the purchase of 3 bottles 50:1 that qualifies me for two addition years warranty. I did not receive an email with a confirmation number either. Please advise.
