    Question:
Thank you for doing the right thing. I will say this is more of a comment then a question. I bought a 150BT, after 6 months it started to make a loud rattle noise inside the engine. I took it in to my local Husky dealer and they diagnosed the noise as a wrist pin or something like that. They called Husqvarna and found the machine was to be replaced and not repaired. This, however, was a test of my patience, since the ordeal took almost two months. Not only did they replace my blower, they upgraded it to a 350BT. I have great faith in the Husky brand and will continue to purchace more products. I am very well pleased with Husqvarna doing the right thing.

General Product Question posted May 18, 2014 by David M in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Walk Behind Lawn Mowers public
    Question:
I am concerned. I have slowly replaced my yard equipment with husky brand, starting with a bt 350, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, edger, and recently a 435. Everything works great, exceeds my expectations, except the saw. It is very hard to start. Unlike the rest of my equipment, which starts by the second pull. I am in the market for a new mower, and seriously considering the hu700f. After reading the reviews, I'm not so sure. I don't want to buy something that is not reliable or breaks down every year or so. I do appreciate the warranty, but it is so annoying when something does not work properly . Is the husqvarna quality giving way to corporate greed by using inferior parts and materials to save a buck and increase profits? I do not mind paying a little extra for quality, that is why I went to Husqvarna.

    Question:
I filled out online registration form for the promotional backpack blower tee shirt. This was about two months ago. I was wondering how long does this normally take?

    Question:
I really don't have a question, but wanted to take a minute to thank you for a quality product(s). I did patiently wait for the 350bt blower t shirt to arrive which it did. My wife thinks it is very funny and cute. I just purchaced my 4th piece of equipment. As always, I was elated with its performance. I now have the back pack blower, hedge trimmer, weed trimmer, and recently the edger. They all start flawlessly and they are a joy to use. The only issue I have is that doing yard work now is so efficient, I'm finished before I want to, its fun to me. I guess I'll have to buy a house on a bigger lot:)...
    Thanks again.

Scott, Thank you for responding to my knocking sound...Answeredescalated1
Warranty Question last edited February 10, 2012 by David M in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Leaf Blowers public
    Question:
    Scott,
Thank you for responding to my knocking sound described in my last post on my 350bt blower. You advised low smoke oil and high octane fuel. As mentioned, my local Husky dealer mixed my oil and fuel. They used low smoke Husky two stroke oil, and I filled the fuel at the prescribed amount with no ethenol and i used 92 octane fuel from a local distrubutor who ensures me that it was fresh fuel. The station is in a moderatly poplulated area, so I know it is not old. So, is some spark knock normal for this blower? If so, why does my Husky trimmer and my Husky hedge trimmer not make any spark knock using the same oil fuel mix? Thanks for your help in this matter.

Service & Maintenance Question last edited February 10, 2012 by David M in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Leaf Blowers public
    Question:
    Rattle noise in engine normal?

Ok, my story continues. As you may see, I have two other posts about a 150BT and a 350BT back back blower. To recap, the 150BT worked well for six months, then it developed an internal rattle noise in the engine, sounding like loose marbles. I did get worse and I did take it in, and it was replaced with a 350BT after almost 2 months. I am greatful that it was replaced and not repaired. Now, I just used the 350BT blower and it made a similar noise from the engine on the first use. I had my local Husky dealer mix my oil and gas to verify it is correct. Is this noise normal and to be expected? if so I am not going to worry about it and enjoy it. If it is not normal I'm going to be severly disappointed. My other Husky equipment does not make any rattle noises like the blower. Please advise me if there are similar concerns about this noise and put my mind at ease.

Warranty Question last edited February 10, 2012 by David M in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Leaf Blowers public
    Question:
I have a BT 150 blower, six months old. It is making a loud rattle noise from the inside of the engine. It has been at the "authorized" service center for three weeks. they think it is a wrist pin. Will It be repaired or will I receive a new blower since it is so new and that is major engine repair?
