Well thank you as always. If you happen to locate that, please let me know. Not in real big hurry as I will be putting it away here soon. Northeast Ohio and all...

So putting the throttle lever in the snowflake position replicates the choke? However, if there is no choke cable, how would I adjust anything if in fact the choke is not closing completely?
Thanx
So when the engine is cold, I place the throttle into the snowflake position and that replicates the choke position? And also, check to see that once in the snowflake position, check to see if the choke is completely closed? But if there is no actual choke cable, is there any adjustment I can make to fully close the choke and have the engine start?
Thank you
Tom
Well finally, project/repair all complete I removed only the spindle not the entire mandrel which was pretty easy. The spindle did not have any obstructions other than the hole was not drill through completely!!! Found this out by checking the depth of the new one compared to the existing one. Just got a drill and completed the hole and the grease was flowing. I have a spare bearing, spindle and mandrel. Guess I could have taken it in since its covered under warranty but the $40 was minimal repair cost.
Thank you so very much for all the correspondence and assistance, could not have done it without you...

thank u sir for all of the advise. i do have a tap and die set and found the 5/16-18 tap so i will do that. so as far as the spindle issue, there may only be a need to rinspect the spindle with even having to take off the mandrel, just take the pulley and blade off and hopefully the spindle will come out? the grease hole should be innthe spindle? the madrel i ordered came with the spindle as well and not knwoinf that, i also ordered a new spindle so i have lots of parts. i am goping to tackle this laster today nand will let u know.
thanx again
I see. So leave the hub attached with the 4 bolts. Remove the nut where the zerk is screwed into on the top of the deck holding the pulley on. Tap the spindle with the nut partially threaded on and that assembly should come out the bottom of the deck where the blade is attached. , just the spindle with the zerk on top of it. Sounds good.
I try to clean the underside of the deck frequently. Could I have lodged something in that shaft/spindle thus not permitting grease to come out? Just grasping at straws here...
Thank you. I may take the spindle off and check it out. I took the grease fitting off and was able to push a plastic zip tie into it. Could not detect any blockage. I dont want to force the grease in. Someone mentioned the pinhole grease adapter but I kinda ruled that out if the fitting actually passes grease. Another post was fire up the mower, engage the blades for a few minutes and try it again. Cant be any old hard grease build up in there, the mower is like 3 months old! Can the shaft be full? I dont want to blow a seal. And lastly, should I be able to see where the grease comes out, like under the deck and above the blade? Thats the only way I have ever know to stop. All very odd for a new mower. Thank you again, sir for all of your assistance.
Sir, Thank you very much. Ordered the orange filter and the 5w30 synthentic. going to change now after the 10 hours.
Again, thanx...
