    Chester,

Both the P1500 and SST25 carry the following warranty.

2 YEARS - Parts and Labor, when used for household purposes.

90 DAYS - Parts and Labor, when used for commercial, professional, or income producing purposes.

30 DAYS - Parts and Labor, if used for rental purposes.

I believe these warranties for these two models have been the same for several years.  Just keep in mind that the warranty coverage starts the date of sale and is not transferable.  Please refer to your Owner's Manual for full details of the Limited Warranty Policy.

Thank you for contacting us at Answer Army.

    Hey Jim,

The best way to determine how to use the Parking Brake feature for you tractor would be to refer back to the Owner's Manual.  Also, you can perform the following steps depending on which particular tractor you have.

    1. Depress brake pedal all the way down and hold.

    2. Pull parking brake lever up and hold, release pressure from brake pedal, then release parking brake lever.  Pedal should remain in brake position.  Make sure parking brake will hold tractor secure.

I hope this helps and thank you for using Answer Army.

    Hey Chris,

Thank you for contacting us at Answer Army.  Actually on the 2042LS models there is a window on the frame left of the operator that one can look through to tell the gas level.  I do not believe there is an actual gas gauge but this window was built to see the actual level of the gas.  Below is a link to the 2042LS Illustrated Parts List and if you look on the Chassis page and reference number 161, then you will see exactly what I am referring too.

It sounds like your tire has a problem indeed.  Weed Eater is unable to ship parts directly to customers and have to use our Servicing Dealers to order them.  There are two options that you can pursue.  First, you may exchange the unit at the store you purchased the model.  Second, the easiest option would be to contact your local Servicing Dealer for a replacement part.  Please visit http://www.weedeater.com/node7833.aspx to find your local dealer.  They can ensure that your product is registered and order parts under warranty if available.

    Thanks for using Answer Army!

Thank you for the question on Answer Army.

I would not suggest pulling a lawn sweeper with the Weed Eater One model.  This model is designed to use a bagger system for one of its accessories, but I believe a lawn sweeper could be to heavy for the unit to pull effectively.  Accessories like the lawn sweeper should be used on larger tractors with more torque and larger transmissions.

    Thanks,

    Brandon

    Hey Maretron,

Thank you for contacting us at Answer Army.

Here are the steps to preparing your battery before starting the lawn mower.  Be sure all terminals are hooked up correctly as well and hold the operator presence control bar down to the handle.

    1. Connect battery charger connector (male) to harness connector (female).

    2. Plug battery charger into 110 volt A.C. outlet.

    3. Leave battery charger connected for 24 hours before starting your engine for the first time.

    4. After charging, disconnect harness connector (female) from battery charger connector (male).  Connect your battery charger to charge battery as required.

IMPORTANT: THE ENGINE WILL NOT RECHARGE YOUR BATTERY.  AT THE END OF THE MOWING SEASON THE BATTERYSHOULD BE CHARGED FOR 48 HOURS TO PROTECT THEBATTERY DURING WINTER STORAGE.

CAUTION: Always disconnect the engine connector (male) from the battery connector (female) to prevent accidental starting when transporting or storing your lawn mower after the season.

    Hey Todd,

Thank you for using Answer Army.  The main reason for the safety switch is obviously to keep users safe.  If a safety switch is disconnected the unit will not function.  Also, if the safety switch is tampered with then the warranty could be voided if you ever needed repairs.  In other words, the user would assume all liability if it was tampered with.

All manufacturers use this type of technology to help protect the users.  My suggestion would not to cut off the switch or adjust it, because we want to make sure all users are safely operating the equipment.

    Thanks,

    Brandon

    Dear Pop,

We really do appreciate your comments.  Because the Weed Eater One is first of its kind, we spend a great deal of our time listening to customer feedback in order to plan future enhancements of the product.  We do this through surveys, comments (such as yours), continuous testing and focus groups.

So far, feedback about the Weed Eater One has been overwhelming positive!  Unfortunately, there are a few cases where customers are unhappy with the product.  This is why we offer a two year warranty with the Weed Eater One.  If you are unsatisfied, please check with the store location of purchase for their return policies.

As for your concern on the assembly of the product, we are very proud to have many of our products assembled in U.S.A. factories.  We believe the craftsmanship of our American workers is second to none and this is overwhelmingly supported by the feedback we get from our customers.  Your mower was assembled in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  Having toured the facility myself, I can assure you it is a state of the art factory which employs a highly-trained and dedicated work force.  Knowing the pride they put into their work, I know your feedback will be used to motivate them to find ways to improve!

Thanks again for your feedback, Pop.
