Warranty Question posted August 27, 2013 by Mark Griffith
    Question:
    Good afternoon,
I purchased a self propelled mower from the original Sears in Lynchburg,Va.,on May 4th 2012. I have been quite pleased until
the self propelled handle stopped working. I took the mower to the local "franchise" Sears in Lynchburg. I was told the mower was under warranty and they would send the mower to their repair facility.I also understood replacement would be for any part other than normal useage. Two tires having to be replace in 1 year and the handle breaking is NOT normal use. This was on 8/5/2013. I filled out the repair ticket noting replace the front tires and repair the handle mechanism and attached all the parts as I was told any parts needed I would be charged. On my repair ticket I also noted my cell # and was told I would be called for a total on repair costs. Today,8/27/2013 I called as I heard NOTHING. I also included my email address. When calling the number(888-391-8867,all
    Details:

recieved was excuses as to why I was not called the first being my home number was disconnected as we have cell phone #'s only, which was noted on the repair bill. The service advisor advised that the repair ticket should not have been attached to the mower, as after the tec reviews,he then notifies the adman to place the call to the owner. There were NO calls and no emails to notify me and the mower was shipped back to Lynchburg with NO repairs. As I stated earlier, I took the bag of parts to the store for the reason stated before. I was told the repair would total $271.95 for two tires and the self propelled handle. I estimate 2x$20.00=$40.00 for the tires. $64.99 for the labor. The balance for the handle would be the remaining. Needless to say, I am shocked beyond belief on both the incompetence of the Sears repair center, but as important the total cost. I will NOT pick up the mower once it is reurned and more importantly, I will tell all of my hunt club members, my church friends, and anyone else I come in contact with, how very poorly your and Sears repair procedures are. Not that you care, I will also cancel my account with Sears and will never purchase your product again.

    Question:
H775hw lawnmower bought in November 2011 and registered went to start today and barely started and once started clouds of white smoke and black oil spitting out the exhaust. Pretty sure its a blown piston ring. Would like to know about the warranty on this engine and how to go about resolving this.

Warranty Question posted November 2, 2015 by P Campbell
    Question:
Have a year old 46 deck mower. The belt broke at less than a year old. Had a backup mower and used it while the new mower was put up (Lowes was out of the belt) Just went to replace the belt and found out that the deck itself is bent which caused the belt to break. Considering the young age of the mower and the fact that nothing was hit with the mower how and why would the deck become bent? Seems like a major fault in the design and material. Needless to say that we are shocked at the quality of this mower. What type of warranty does a factory defect fall under?? I can take pictures of the mower if needed. Please advise as soon as possible.

Warranty Question posted September 10, 2012 by Eric Meister
    Question:
Hello I bought a 7021P Push Lawn Mower in August of 2011 from Amazon.com. Two weeks ago the left rear wheel cracked and fell off. According to my research, this is a warranty repairable item. So I took it to my nearest Husqvarna service center which is Billings in Royal Oak, MI. They told me that since I purchased on Amazon, they cannot help me. Please let me know how I can fix this problem. That's a very disappointing failure for a 1-year-old product. Especially since I have used the mower about 12 times so far with each session lasting roughly 20 minutes. See pictures below. Thank you.

Warranty Question posted May 3, 2017 by craig boos
    Question:
    Hello,
I purchased a new LC221A walk behind mower today , new - from Lowes. While preparing it for 1st use, it was clear that lower locking handles were partially stripped. I was able to get the left side to eventually grab, but the right side handle just spins and will not tighten or grab. It is clearly defective and since it doesn't tighten, the handle leans right and doesn't stay engaged in the locking hole, since the knob can not be tightened on that side.

I need to get a replacement handle/screw for that side-
    Details:

This is a new, literally - bought today and hadn't ever run it- tractor- I need Husqvarna to send me a replacement bolt/handle - I'm more than happy to do the work to install it but I need the replacement part-

    Thanks,

    Craig

Warranty Question posted June 23, 2013 by Jeff Sidebotham
    Question:
Hi I purchased an HU775HW mower at Lowes. It is supposed to have a 3 year warranty according to the Lowe's website and in fact there's a sticke on the mower that shows a 3 year warranty.
When I registered the mower I got an email that shows a two year warranty. I called support and was told it had been corrected but then I got another email showing a two year warranty. How do I get the records corrected to show the 3 year warranty?

    Question:
    Hi,
I recently bought the HU700L and the belt drive to the mower is slipping. I brought it to the dealer and they told me that is normal. They said they put another mower together and it does the same thing. I'm concerned as I've invested in a new mower and six weeks later I've been to the dealer twice.

    Question:
    Hi,
Here is my registration information: Confirmation Number: 161010-003145

    Name: Kristyn Corace
    Address: 203 willard clark circle
    Spotswood, NJ, 08884
    Model: HU725AWD
    Serial: 04116M025360
    Purchase Date: 09/03/2016
    Warranty: 2

We did not open the mower until this spring. After opening, we added oil, checked it, all good. We mowed once-GREAT, we mowed twice-GREAT, on the third mow it just stopped. We could not get it started again. We took it to PANTANO POWER EQUIPMENT
    143 FREEHOLD ROAD
    MANALAPAN, NJ 07726
They said that there was no oil in it and they did not believe that the warranty would cover this. We said that there must be a problem why the engine used all of the oil up that quickly in just 2 1/2 mows. They said if we paid $105 diagnostic fee, they would take it apart and see what the whole problem was. But, they still didn't think it would be covered. If it isn't covered, we would be out our $105.

We are very confused. This is not our first mower, of course we know to add oil; which we did. Can you please help us?

    Thank you.
