Warranty Question posted August 13, 2013 by Angela Baird
    Question:
Does Husqavarna really want return customers?
    Details:

I bought my self propelled walk behind on April 4, 2013 from my local Lowe's. By the middle of July, the drive cable broke, and I returned it to the store to be repaired. Of course, this problem was NOT covered by the 3 year limited warranty, and I was expected to pay $150 to get it back, after the shop having had it for nearly 3 weeks. I paid over $360 for this mower, and I expected to get a little more than half a season out of it. I don't have the money to buy another.

In addition, now that it's back, it still does not have a fraction of the power it had the first time I used it. And the cheap plastic grass chute is already worn to the point that it won't stay attached to the housing during use. The built in cleaning nozzle where you can "wash" it out with the hose is useless.

I am extremely unhappy with this mower, and more than that, just disappointed that I chose to give Husqavarna my money for what I mistakenly thought would be a quality product. I'm now stuck borrowing a relative's mower again this summer, just like last summer. I wonder whatever happened to pride in workmanship, built to last and all that crap.

It's little wonder no one buys American anymore; it's all crap.

Warranty Question posted September 6, 2018 by David Gilarski
    Question:
I have a LC 221A walk behind mower which was purchased in June 2018 and the rear plastic door which lays on top of the grass catcher has made 2 small holes in the bag from rubbing
on it when bagging grass while mowing. I believe this is a design flaw. How do I get a new grass catcher or can I get credit for this model and pay the difference to move up to a model without this rear door laying on the grass catcher since I believe the problem will continue due to this design flaw.

    Question:
I purchased a mower Hyper Tough 20" Gas-Powered Side Discharge Lawn Mower from Walmart on June 9, 2017. It has been trouble since day one but my husband has tried to make it work. It has starting problems and now it won't start at all. He has back problems and has had to really work hard to get it started each time. It says it has a 1 year warranty and we would like to get it repaired or replaced.

    Question:
I bought the lawnmower a year ago and after I used it for two months it started to leak oil from the bottom , this Year I tried to started and wouldn’t turn on , I took it for service it took like three months to get an answer, they told me the frame was bend and it wasn’t covered, my question is what kind of warranty is that, you buy a defective product and you don’t have a company that’s going to make sure you get a good product
