    Question:
    Model # 960430177-00, Serial Number 050516A 006280. Purchase date 5-2-2017

I would like to receive another smart switch under warranty and I'll return this one. How do I go about doing this?
Better still, I'd like to simply replace this smart switch with the equivalent manual switch. It seems a lot of folks have trouble with the safety switch, according to many comments on Google.

I purchased a Husqvarna GT 48 XSLi from Jacks Small Engines online earlier this year, new and in the Husqvarna shipping crate.  Their Order 1215000, on 5-2-2017.  Model # 960430177-00, Serial Number 050516A 006280.  I believe the machine was built in 2015, based on the information on the crate.

I like the machine.  However, I now have 8 hours on it and the Smart Switch is keeping the engine from starting.
First of all, it has never accepted anything but the default code.  I have not been able to successfully load any other code. But at least I could use the machine.

My trouble now is much worse.  I have to use the machine and it won't let me.  I go through the Smart Switch start sequence and get a green light for a split second, then both the brake light and mower deck clutch light blink red, off and on.  The result is I can't turn the engine over or complete the start sequence.  All other safety shut-downs are in working order.  Seat, oil level, etc.  The brake is engaged and the mower deck clutch is disengaged.  This appears to be a fault in the smart switch itself.
I would like to receive another smart switch under warranty and I'll return this one.  How do I go about doing this?

My local dealer is not an option.  My nearest dealer is 30 miles away, Z Equipment, and they charged me $150.00 every time they picked up my old Husqvarna for service, and then took forever to get the work done, sometimes requiring two or three trips for the same basic repairs.  They did not have this machine available, anyway, which is one reason I bought it from Jacks. I like this combination of power and size and the locking differential.  I am fast coming to the conclusion that I don't like the smart switch.

Day before yesterday while mowing my mower started to smoke...
Warranty Question posted August 9, 2017 by Daniel Rosenheim
    Question:
Day before yesterday while mowing my mower started to smoke under the hood and in just a few seconds was in flames. I was far enough from the house that water was not immediately available so by the time a got back to put out the fire the entire mover was engulfed. It completely burnt to the ground. It was a 48" riding mower with only 212 hours on it. I was wondering if this had occurred with other mowers or maybe there was a recall for something that I missed. I am looking for answers. Thanks

Warranty Question posted July 5, 2017 by Maxim Tulupnikov
    Question:
My lawn mower (HU725AWD, MODEL # 961450028 00, S/N 022316M009435) stopped working after one year of very rare and careful use. Last summer I used it every 3 weeks on my 0.6 acre lawn, and a couple of times this year, then it wouldn't start. I also got a letter about a safety recall of my model last fall. Right now the machine is in the repair shop with the Husqvarna local service center in CT, Benedict's Home & Garden in Monroe, CT. The dealer refuses to repair the equipment under the 3-year warranty, or the recall letter. Please contact the dealer and resolve the warranty/recall case. I would like to receive back my machine in working condition. I own other Husqvarna equipment, and I'd like to rely on the quality of your products.

    Question:
The registration form doesn't recognize the product chosen from the form search screen.
    Details:

In trying to register my new lawn mower, I enter the product ID, registration finds it, I choose it, the field is populated.  I hit submit, and the form tells me I must enter my product ID.
It was chosen by the system autopopulating it from the form.
    I can't register

Warranty Question posted June 5, 2017 by Bill White
    Question:
    I just purchased a Husqvarna HU725AWDEX (22") 163cc Self-Propelled All-Wheel Drive Lawn Mower w/ Electric Start
I received it on May 27th and when I tried to adjust the height of the right front wheel I found the adjuster was turned to the point it was completely under the deck of the lawn mower. I was able to get the adjuster lever back to its proper place even though now the adjuster lever is somewhat loose along with the wheel.
On June 3rd I noticed the same issue with the adjuster lever on the left rear wheel. That it had become loose and was under the deck. As I started to move the adjuster lever back to its proper position, I could see that the entire left rear wheel and adjuster lever is now loose to the point that the adjuster lever will not stay in the position I place it and the adjuster lever will rotate until it is again under the daeck. Please provide information for this warranty issue.

    Question:
    Hi,
Here is my registration information: Confirmation Number: 161010-003145

    Name: Kristyn Corace
    Address: 203 willard clark circle
    Spotswood, NJ, 08884
    Model: HU725AWD
    Serial: 04116M025360
    Purchase Date: 09/03/2016
    Warranty: 2

We did not open the mower until this spring. After opening, we added oil, checked it, all good. We mowed once-GREAT, we mowed twice-GREAT, on the third mow it just stopped. We could not get it started again. We took it to PANTANO POWER EQUIPMENT
    143 FREEHOLD ROAD
    MANALAPAN, NJ 07726
They said that there was no oil in it and they did not believe that the warranty would cover this. We said that there must be a problem why the engine used all of the oil up that quickly in just 2 1/2 mows. They said if we paid $105 diagnostic fee, they would take it apart and see what the whole problem was. But, they still didn't think it would be covered. If it isn't covered, we would be out our $105.

We are very confused. This is not our first mower, of course we know to add oil; which we did. Can you please help us?

    Thank you.

Warranty Question posted May 3, 2017 by craig boos
    Question:
    Hello,
I purchased a new LC221A walk behind mower today , new - from Lowes. While preparing it for 1st use, it was clear that lower locking handles were partially stripped. I was able to get the left side to eventually grab, but the right side handle just spins and will not tighten or grab. It is clearly defective and since it doesn't tighten, the handle leans right and doesn't stay engaged in the locking hole, since the knob can not be tightened on that side.

I need to get a replacement handle/screw for that side-
    Details:

This is a new, literally - bought today and hadn't ever run it- tractor- I need Husqvarna to send me a replacement bolt/handle - I'm more than happy to do the work to install it but I need the replacement part-

    Thanks,

    Craig
