    Question:
Purchased a two year extended warranty from Fingerhut. Noticed the warranty that came with my chain saw modal #PP5020AV has a warranty that came with it. Does this mean I would have an exter 2 year warranty after the Poulan warranty ends? Also read that the warranty covers 100 %, parts and labor, is this true?

    Question:
Like many others, I am having trouble registering a new product--Husky chainsaw 445. No matter what I type in the product box, the search function doesn't find it, and I can't go forward with the product registration without completing that box. FIX THIS! I purchased Husky fuel mix expressly to extend my warranty from 2 to 4 years, and a condition of the extended warranty is product registration....

    Question:
I purchased my Poulan Pro Chainsaw in March of 2014, I used it once. The second time I used it I noticed that the small piece of metal that adjusts the chain had broke. Is this part covered by the warranty? I don't understand how it broke or why, but I cannot return the product and I spent $200.00 on chainsaw that only worked once, I am very upset. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done to rectify this problem?

    Question:
I was useing my chainsaw and it seized up. I removed the spark plug sprayed wd40 to loosen it up. Now it has no compression. Took it in for service. They said it was not covered under warrenty. They said I used the wrong mix of fuel and the cylinder was scored and overheated. I used the product that came with the saw. They said it is not covered under warrenty. Now what do I do with it. It is aprox one year old.

Warranty Question posted July 2, 2014 by Aaron Box
    Question:
I purchased a PP5020AV Chainsaw on 10/19/1012. I used the saw approximately 10 times in light home use, always using clean, stabilized fuel at the right mix. I have babied this saw, emptying it when not in use, always storing it clean and dry in its case, using sharp chain, etc. To be clear, I hardly used the thing in the time I have had it.

This spring, I was cutting and when I stopped the saw it would not start. Tried checking filter, plug and then took to the location of purchase, Jerry's Home Improvement to be looked at.

The initial tech at the store confirmed there was no fuel issues visible, and that something deeper must be wrong, so it was sent to their people for testing and repair.

I have since been informed that it has low compression and this is somehow not covered under warranty. It was suggested to me that the cause was wrong gas or something I did. This is ridiculous to say the least.

Further, the gentlemen I spoke with who broke the bad news suggested it was his experience that I was better off to buy a different band of saw than fix my Poulan Pro.

Please tell me how I can get a hold of a local PP rep to deal with my situation. I have been a fan of your products, owning a tiller as well, and previously two other PP saws. If this is not resolved I will not purchase another PP item and will warn others against doing so.

I tried calling the number provided for Customer Service and had no way of speaking to a live person. Please advise me on how to proceed.

Warranty Question posted May 15, 2014 by Larry Chrzan
    Question:
I have a Poulan Pro PP4218AVX that failed. I took it to an authorized Poulan service center, they phoned in the diagnosis, and Poulan denied the warranty claim. I called in to Poulan customer service and they refuse to connect me to anyone who can address this issue. I took good care of my chainsaw and will not just accept that it's my fault that the chainsaw failed. . And the runaround on this is maddening. If the warranty is denied, there should be some way to dispute that determination.

Who do I contact to address this denied warranty claim?
