I has a Husqvarna drt 700, while tilling the wheels became locked, the tines will rotate forward and in reverse, but no matter where I move the transmission lever the wheels remain locked.
my new tiller FT900 came with the rear wheel support so badly mis-alligned that the wheels did not track in parallel. also one was tilted up and the other outward. after trying unsuccessfully to bend the support I bought a threaded steel rod that forced the wheels into an approximate tandem position with each other, now at least they roll w/o resistance against each other. this is unacceptable workmanship considering the cost of this tiller vs cheaper competitive models. so how does one contact husqvarna just to register this complaint officially?
I have a tiller model #700DRT and the wheels won't turn. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in or if the unit is running or not. I had to physically drag it into my garage to store it. Could it be that the belt slipped or is this a bigger problem (like the transmission)?
I just bought a DRT900H. It idles fine, runs good just driving to the garden. As soon as you start to till the governor swings back and forth rapidly from idle to wide open throttle. The engine surges drastically the entire time I'm tilling. I brought it back to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong. They obviously didn't take it out and actually put it under load. I saw a previous post by Ken Theis that is the same as what I'm experiencing. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it. As it appears my dealer is just going to blow me off and I'm going to have to fix this myself. Thanks for any and all help. Terry
I have a 500 CRT tiller. There is a little metal on metal sound when operating. The manual says that there is a RH Grease fitting that needs grease once per season. I can't find this fitting on my tiller. Is it possible that some models of this tiller were made with a non-serviceable transmission and does not have a grease zerk?
ok I have a crt 900 tiller, I just changed the drive belt, it was a 52x1/2. problem is now when I put it in gear it goes without depressing the clutch lever iam stumped?
I have had the input shaft bearing go out several times. The gear case is full of grease but it doesn't keep that bearing greased. What do I need to do?
