    I lost the nut to chain guide plate, I can't find a parts diagram for anything newer than 2011.
    Rest of the model # is DHVXS.0414AB s/n 2013 0800586
    And this # is on same plate as s/n 967 16 60-01

    Help appreciated!

    I need a replacement chain, and can only guess at what is the proper one. My saw is a 372xp. My bar has "RSN B 24/60 050/1 3" stamped on it. Am I right to assume that the "24" is the length of the bar? Is the "050/1" the guage of the bar to use when looking for a new chain? Also stamped on the bar is "3/8 84DL 92640 SQ". Am I right in guessing that the "3/8" is the pitch, and the "84DL" is the number of drive links? So if I search on Amazon and get part number "H4684" (a 24-inch chain with .050 guage and 84 drive links that has 372xp on the package) I should be good (and safe) to go? Thanks for any input y'all can provide!

    Hi, I am trying to find a parts list for my 460 rancher and just don't understand the way the model codes work.  for example I see a manual for a rancher 460 2012-06 available but my sn plate doesn't show that exactly

    here is the info for my plate

    Husqvarna 460

    966 04 83-24

    s/n 2012 2900689

    Husqvarna AB, Huskvarna, Sweden

    so I'm guessing the manual would be a 2012 something or other since I have the 2012 on the serial number but I'm just not positive. 

    can anyone point me to the correct parts manual?  I'm looking for a replacement carb and I don't have it pulled off right now and I'm at work wanting to order a new one.

    But i want a 16" bar and chain for normal household jobs.

    I live 1.5 hours from the nears dealer. the website is so cryptic that i can not figure out part numbers for a bar and chain to order them online.

    I guessing Hasqvarna marketing plan will put them out of the US market by being dealer proprietary. 

    Last Hasqvarna product i will buy if I can not buy parts.

    I have purchased two different Husq brand chains for my Rancher 455. One has an 80 stamped on the links. The other has a 72 stamped on the links.

    I'd think that there would only be ONE chain type for this saw. Your thoughts ?

    I lost a couple of rear bar nuts (clutch cover) in one morning off my one year old 455 Rancher .
    When I put them on, I tighten them firmly with the spanner, but it doesn't seem to be enough.
    What am I missing - part or technique? Should I put on LockTite?
