Warranty Question posted September 26, 2018 by MICHAEL MacDonald
    Question:
hi, i just purchased the i120 battery saw 2 weeks ago in leiu of a storm that was supposed to hit my area. the storm never came but i was clearing some brush in my yard and using the saw for the first time since purchase. the battery only lasted about 10 minutes which i thought was odd because it had been on charge all night the night before. i removed the battery and charged it over night again and the next day when removing it from the charger, the level indicator only shows 2 bars. i believe i may have a defective battery. im going to borrow my brothers charger to make sure (i bought his saw at the same time as they were on clearance) but if i have a defective battery, where do i get it warrantied. lowes doesnt seem to carry just the battery.

    Question:
I have a model 120i chainsaw purchased in 2017. Serial number is 2017 2000257. I used it last fall and it worked beautifully. This spring when I attempted to use it, the saw won't start. I know it's under warranty, but I can't find my receipt. I ordered it online, but can't remember who it was purchased from. Will you please help me resolve this situation so I can get my saw repaired?

Warranty Question posted March 20, 2018 by Bryan Remaly
    Question:
Hi there, I'm a professional Arborist from PA who purchased a T540XP in July of last year and have had nothing but problems. It never really ran great, and as time went on it only got worse. Frustrated, I went back to the Stihl trim saw I had been using and put the 540 aside for a while. Finally getting around to it before the 6 month warranty ran out, I took it to a reputable local dealer a few days before Christmas, where it has been ever since (it's now almost APRIL!). Only 5 hours of runtime on the saw. They have thrown every part I can imagine at it, and have had no success. I just want a stinkin' replacement saw already! The dealer tells me that it is under warranty and they are working with Husqvarna to troubleshoot the saw. Is there anything I can do to get them to just give me a replacement, or am I at the mercy of the dealer here? $650 on a tophandle and this is the support I get? My Stihl dealer would have given me a replacement immediately if the saw couldn't be fixed a timely manner. Thanks for any and all help!!

    Question:
I purchased a brand new 550XP chainsaw last year sometime, I just opened it to use it and the oil cap unscrews for about one full turn easily them starts to get tight. This can not be removed at all. I am pretty strong and at the point I feel it will break the lift up tab to help you tighten and loosen it. My hope is that the place I purchased it will hand me a new one not take it in for warranty repair. It a defective saw it my eyes never used the saw
    Details:

purchased it from Jacks small engine, own 3 others ones. one same two larger. 550XP $$about 600 bucks maybe more but around there
