General Product Question last edited May 7, 2012 by Darrel Plummer
    Question:
Last week I finally took delivery on my new YTH24K48 lawn tractor which I purchased from the local Lowes the last of March. I filled the tractor with gas and in the process, spilled a small amount on the fender. Imagine my surprise when I wiped the gas off the fender and realized I had also wiped off all the numbers and symbols for the mower height adjustments. This is a machine that uses petroleum products and gets wet occasionally and these important painted on numbers and symbols can't endure either water or petroleum. Really!!!?? Really???!! Bad, bad design choice! Really bad design choice!

Can you please send me a file with the graphics and numbers for the painted on labels so I can at least produce my own solvent proof decals to put on the tractor and mower?

    Thanx,

    Question:
I have a YTH22V46. I finished mowing, then pulled the brake/neutral release rod at the back outward to allow me to push/roll the tractor into its storage location.

Normally I just press the brake pedal on the left side with my foot to re-engage, so that it will no longer roll freely, but this had no effect. The mower could still roll freely. I manually pushed the rod at the back of the mower back in, and it clicked into place, but the mower STILL was able to roll freely. I repeated this a few more times with no luck.

Searching around, 99.9% of complaints involve the opposite problem, the mower being unable to go into neutral, or parking brake unable to release, so I can't really find anything on the exact issue I'm having.

Any idea what may be going on here? Anything to look for? Thanks!

EDIT: Probably obvious, but after reading the manual what I'm referring to is the freewheel control. So the mower is stuck in "freewheel mode" and it seems that the transmission is not re-engaging.

    Question:
I own a Husqvarna YTH24V54XLS. I recently moved from a 1+ acre lot to a smaller property and have found the 54 inch deck is too big for the layout of my new smaller yard. Is it possible to replace the deck with a smaller one? If so, what deck models (complete kits) fit my tractor? I'm thinking a deck somewhere in the 42-45 inch range would be ideal.

    Question:
I have a Craftsman lawn tractor with a husqvarna smart switch mfg p/n 3033-001 rev:1 When i attempt to start my mower i sit on the seat and all the lights flash on the switch then the start button flashes blue. I have tried to put my code in but the start switch just goes solid blue. I have tried the reset procedure and the master code to reset but it only goes solid blue. After about 30 seconds or so the light will go out. I stand up then sit back down and all lights flash again and the blue light starts flashing again. Same result. I have a new charged battery, parking brake is set. Any help is appreciated.

General Product Question last edited May 16, 2012 by Lewis Derfuss
    Question:
I purchased a GT6000 Tractor/mower from Sears and front wheels severely out of alignment after about 12 hours use. Had home warrenty and technician came out, ordered spindles and other parts, changed still same problem. Found steering plate between frame rails buckled and frame bent and twisted. Issue is thin gauge metal 12 gauge use for frame.

I looked at several Husqvarna models at Lowes YTH21K46 and YTH24K48 and appear to have thicker gauge frames but cant find specs. Can you tell me what gauge metal is used on these and similar models?

Also technician shared he changes a lot of Hydostatic Transmission as they burn up in heat. Do you use same HS Transmission as Sears and what does your failure rate look like. What is your warrentee?

Do you offer manual transmission options?

    Thanks

LGT2554 Rear AXLE snapped on flat ground!1
General Product Question posted September 1, 2018 by Michael Salaun
    Question:
LGT2554 Rear AXLE snapped on flat ground!
    Details:

A garage kept, well maintained LGT2554 axle broke off right the wheel. Can a Husqvarna rep please email or call me, apparently I am not the only person with this issue. The ground is flat and less than 1 acre to cut, something is not right with QA/QC with this lawnmower.

    Thank you,

    Michael
