General Product Question posted July 23, 2013 by Robert Hawk
    Question:
I just bought a YTH22V46. It is very difficult to start cold. It takes 30 secs and sometimes longer to get it started. Once it starts, it runs fine and restarts normally. I am using fresh auto fuel and follow the manual instructions. I am concerned that the excessive cranking will shorten the starter and battery life.
The guys who delivered it almost took it back because it wouldn't start then it suddenly started.

    Dealers who sell articulating mowers.escalated6100%
General Product Question posted August 19, 2014 by John Schroeder
    Question:
    Dealers who sell articulating mowers.
    Details:

I am interested in purchasing an articulated mower. I looked at the Dealer Locator and visited the dealers listed locally. I was told that they did not think these mowers are being sold in the United States. They are only available in Europe. Yet I have seen YouTube videos made here in the US of these mowers.

Please help me find a dealer who is interested in my business. I am in Southeaster PA.  Southwester New Jersey, Delaware and even northern Maryland are not out of reach.

    WARNING! On 3-27-2014 I purchased a Husqvarna YTH24V48 Lawn...escalated2100%
General Product Question posted May 12, 2014 by James Allen
    Question:
WARNING! On 3-27-2014 I purchased a Husqvarna YTH24V48 Lawn Tractor from my local dealer, I paid for the extra strong mowing deck. Prior to this I had a John Deere lawn tractor for 20 years.

Today after mowing I noticed the right side of the deck was leaning and touching the ground. I looked under the tractor and noticed the right rear bracket that holds up the mowing deck broke loose - a very poor design as well as a poor weld!

I am mowing the same area I have mowed for the last 29 years.

If I would have known this was so CHEAPLY made I wouldn't have purchased this! I spent $2,105.95 on a lawn tractor that only lasted almost 6 weeks! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Yes still waiting to see if Husqvarna will do anything - as the grass grows.

General Product Question posted June 20, 2013 by John Urban
    Question:
This the worst example of "Customer Service" I have ever experienced! Questions are never answered and their phone support refers you back to the Answer Army, which does not produce any results. How can you claim that questions will be answered within 24 hours when I have waited over one month with no results. You make it very easy to determine which products I will not purchase the next time I need Outdoor Equipment!

    I purchased a GT6000 Tractor/mower from Sears and front...Answeredescalated4100%
General Product Question posted April 27, 2012 by Lewis Derfuss
    Question:
I purchased a GT6000 Tractor/mower from Sears and front wheels severely out of alignment after about 12 hours use. Had home warrenty and technician came out, ordered spindles and other parts, changed still same problem. Found steering plate between frame rails buckled and frame bent and twisted. Issue is thin gauge metal 12 gauge use for frame.

I looked at several Husqvarna models at Lowes YTH21K46 and YTH24K48 and appear to have thicker gauge frames but cant find specs. Can you tell me what gauge metal is used on these and similar models?

Also technician shared he changes a lot of Hydostatic Transmission as they burn up in heat. Do you use same HS Transmission as Sears and what does your failure rate look like. What is your warrentee?

Do you offer manual transmission options?

    Thanks

Last week I finally took delivery on my new YTH24K48 lawn...Answeredescalated2100%
General Product Question posted April 23, 2012 by Darrel Plummer
    Question:
Last week I finally took delivery on my new YTH24K48 lawn tractor which I purchased from the local Lowes the last of March. I filled the tractor with gas and in the process, spilled a small amount on the fender. Imagine my surprise when I wiped the gas off the fender and realized I had also wiped off all the numbers and symbols for the mower height adjustments. This is a machine that uses petroleum products and gets wet occasionally and these important painted on numbers and symbols can't endure either water or petroleum. Really!!!?? Really???!! Bad, bad design choice! Really bad design choice!

Can you please send me a file with the graphics and numbers for the painted on labels so I can at least produce my own solvent proof decals to put on the tractor and mower?

    Thanx,
    Darrel Plummer
