General Product Question posted January 22, 2016 by CHRIS VIGNOLA
    Question:
Hello, I recently purchased an ST 227P snowblower with heated grips. Because of the lack of snow fall so far, I have not had to use the unit but one time but I am noticing that the heated grips don't seem to be heating the grips as they should with the switch in the "O" position. I ran it last night for at least 5 minutes just to be sure and they are definitely not getting warm. Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this problem?

    Thank you!

    I bought the Husqvarna 1827EXLT 27" 414cc SnowKing Gas...escalated100%
General Product Question posted December 16, 2013 by Barbara Stern
    Question:
I bought the Husqvarna 1827EXLT 27" 414cc SnowKing Gas Powered Two Stage snowblower in December 2012 and it is now December 2013 and it still has not been fixed after using it 3 times and having a defective engine blow up! My snowblower has been sitting at a Husqvarna dealer for many months. I have followed up on it several times to see when I will be getting it back and I am continually told that the engine is backordered. Then, a month ago, I was told it was being expedited (as I watched several inches of snow accumulate in the now 2013 winter season) and I once again followed up today and was told that it was backordered and they were not sure why it had not been expedited - again! When I called Husqvarna customer service today, I spoke with Ashley and was told that since it was an engine issue, Husqvarna was not responsible for the problem. I was told I needed to contact the company that made the engine. Then I asked who the engine supplier was, and she told me she did not know, but that Husqvarna was not able to help me with this issue. I told her (based on necessity) I would need to return the item (if I ever get it back from the Husqvarna dealer in Hugo, MN) and she said once again, that Husqvarna was not the company I should contact to do so. The first person I spoke with said she had all of the information from the dealer that currently has my snowblower, but Ashley insisted she had none of that information. Long story short, Ashley called my dealer and discussed the situation with them. Then I was told that the engine was still on backorder and that Howard had promised it be expedited the first time. No explanation was given for why it wasn't or why it was once again on a backorder status. Today I was told that Cliff was now supposed to be releasing the engine for shipment, but we will see if that happens. Again, this has been a year and I live in Minnesota! It is currently snow like crazy outside and I don't have a snowblower (or a loaner snowblower) to get my ¼ mile driveway blown out. Based on incompetent customer service, I would never buy another product from this company. I plan to return the snowblower and buy some other brand. I am sure this will be a nightmare too! Don't buy from this company!

SNOWBLOWER DRIVE SPEED TOO FAST EVEN AT LOWEST SETTING - I...escalated2100%
General Product Question posted March 8, 2013 by Chris Meader
    Question:
SNOWBLOWER DRIVE SPEED TOO FAST EVEN AT LOWEST SETTING - I just purchased a ST230E snowblower. I have found that even at the lowest setting the drive speed is too fast to throw snow that is more than 2 or 3 inches deep. I purchased this assembled from Lowes and had already noticed they incorrectly hooked up the chute which I have fixed. Could they have done something else incorrectly during assembly that is causing the machine to go so fast even on the slowest setting?

    Question:
I just bought a used husqvarna riding mower that was advertised as a 2016 and when I got to the house to purchase it was told that he made a mistake and it was a 2014. He didn’t have the manual, but promised he would call me as soon as he found it. I tried to find it online and can’t seem to find the mower. The model is YTH2348 with the number 28956 after it. Can someone please tell me anything about this mower? What year it is and how I can get a manual?

    Question:
I own a st151 snow blower. When I go into snow and I have the snow chute to the left or right it will turn by itself to the front of the blower. I have gone back to Lowes twice, same problem with both snow blowers. Is there a way to tighten the chute so it does not move during operation

General Product Question posted January 2, 2018 by Tony Marquis
    Question:
I purchased an ST230P SnowBlower and have probably 6 hours on it. The recoil is no more good. Should be simple - get a new part and get it fixed. Wait over a week for a new recoil - they send the wrong part. Go back to where I purchased it, they send me to their warranty shop - and he tells me he is not qualified to do Husqvarna warranty repairs. I am disappointed for sure. Thought I was buying a good machine , paid over $1800 and used it a few times. Try and find a number at Husqvarna to get some sort of support - can't get a number of someone that will help. Perhaps someone will email me back

General Product Question posted December 11, 2017 by Dave MacDougall
    Question:
I and a friend have this same problem. Husky works good when it starts. unfortunately it is cold during snow season and unless you have a heated garage for storage starting is very iffy. With less than 6" it's much easier to just shovel it. I'll be trading in soon for whatever they will give me. Guess what make I won't even consider in the future. This has been an on-going problem since the 2nd year. I even had it refurbished last year by a husky dealer. It started good the rest of the season now back to same old problem.i use non-ethanol gas and store it according to manual recommendations. it started ok a month or so ago when it was 4o degrees but today at 20 I wasted 30 min. trying to no avail. Model st224.

I am 67 and have had a Toro, a troy-Bilt and something from Sears in my life.. All always started. None were kept in a heated space.

General Product Question posted November 29, 2017 by James Keller
    Question:
I recently purchased a ST 224P snowblower and couldn't register it online because the model choices in the program did not include this model despite it being shown as a product on the Husqvarna website. Looked for a phone number to call but no phone number listed either. How am I supposed to register the product?
