Question:Our brake cable broke on the Weed Eater One riding mower we just got. I'd order the cable myself and install it, but the diagram picture of the cable doesn't look like the U-shaped bracket it connects to is included. There are two chains, its the front one. Is there a way to adjust the chain tension? I checked the manual and manufacture's web site but dont see a way to adjust it.

- Question:ive only had this riding mower for a few months. It stalled on me and when i went to engage the mower, the blades are not turning. Nothing is frozen or obstructing the blades but i did notice a slight crack on the cover above the blades. Other than that everything is still working, blades will just not turn.Photo:
- Question:I just purchased a Weed Eater One riding mower from Wal Mart and during my first use I found that the mower would still move forward when the shift lever was in the neutral position. Also the lever in the back to allow the mower to move by pushing it doesn't stay in the free movement position. Is this something easy to fix or do I need to return the mower?

- Question:Weed Eater One Promotions...
(1)On the weed eater one site two weeks aggo it said if you purchase a weed eater one in July you would receive a free mulch kit upon registering the Weed Eater One product. Registeration was made 7/15/10, purchased online from Home Depot on 7/2/10 and received 7/13/10. When will I receive confirmation that I will be receiving the free mulch kit?
(2) Last week on the Weed Eater One website it stated if you bought a new Weed Eater One between 7/1/2010 and 7/10/2010 you are eligible for a $50.00 rebate. You had to complete a registration on line, but the screen to register would not open and I sent an email to Poulan Pro Consumer Website (Incident" 100716-001358) explaining the problem and have not heard back. I did receive an email acknowledging my inquiry ( Incident:100716-001358.) How do I register for the $50.00 rebate. Thank You. 
Service & Maintenance Question posted April 5, 2013 by John RussellQuestion:Any recalls for the WE261 Riding Lawn Mower?Details:I have a WE261 riding lawn mower that I purchsed from Wal Mart in October 2011 when they were closing out the Lawn and Garden equiptment. This was a floor model, but I still payed over $900.00 for it. I have had nothing but problems with this lawn mower, and I have only used it ONE season! This turned out to be a piece of junk that wasn't worth bringing home. I was very very caution in buying the "Weed Eater" brand as they tend to be known for the poor quality, but I took a gamble.
I have been trying to contact support, and being transfered every which way, and no resolutions. I am unable to locate my receipt for the mower, so I am getting no where with the warranty -- I guess Wal-Mart had this rider sitting around for a while so it ate into my warrenty period per the serial number.
So -- getting ready to start season two of this after putting some money into it last year (all new tires and tubes), new spark plug, oil change, fuel stabilizer, and the whole 9 yards for the tune up. Got it started, put it into gear and now it vibrates and doesn't have much power. In looking at the internet for this, its a $300.00 + job to have done and it is common in all these with the transmission. If there is not a recall for this yet, I hope that one does come because this is a total waste of money, and these things are a big rip off!!
Way to go Weed Eater -- living up to your name as selling junk, but at a higher price!
- Question:Where in or near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada can I purchase the mulch kit and 2 bin bagger for the Weed Eater One? Sears Canada does not sell the 2 bin bagger or the mulch kit.
Also, what are the names / addresses of the weed eater one service dealers in or near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada?
