Thank you for doing the right thing. I will say this is more of a comment then a question. I bought a 150BT, after 6 months it started to make a loud rattle noise inside the engine. I took it in to my local Husky dealer and they diagnosed the noise as a wrist pin or something like that. They called Husqvarna and found the machine was to be replaced and not repaired. This, however, was a test of my patience, since the ordeal took almost two months. Not only did they replace my blower, they upgraded it to a 350BT. I have great faith in the Husky brand and will continue to purchace more products. I am very well pleased with Husqvarna doing the right thing.

Service & Maintenance Question posted November 27, 2015 by Tom Christner
I have a BT150 I received as a gift last year. This year it has started knocking, then will lose power. I removed the fuel and filled with fresh 91 oct gas and 2 cycle oil. It would run a few minutes then start knocking and lose power. I removed the spark plug and found a small carbon ball lodged in the plug. I cleaned plug and reinstalled. It ran for about 30 minutes then repeated what it had been doing. I installed a new plug and the same thing happens. Each time it has that carbon ball lodged in the plug gap. I ask a local lawn equipment repair shop about it and they said they've never seen that.

New 150BT. Only used one time. Less than one month old. New gas, correct oil mix. Starts fine and runs but only on full choke. When choke turned to run position it stops slowly. Will not run unless choke is on. Help

How do you get the blower cover off to access the muffler in order to clean the spark arrestor screen? One screw near the start housing refuses to budge. Don't want to twist it off. Model 130BT.

Service & Maintenance Question posted February 2, 2014 by Kevin Nelson
    No start 125b blower.

I have a 125b blower that I've had for years and has been excellent. I run it at least weekly. A few days ago, I went to start it and it just wouldn't fire. The compression is about 110, and it appears to have spark. Thinking it was fuel related, I bought a carb kit from a local dealer. I cleaned and installed the new carb kit with new fuel lines. New plug. Drained and put in fresh gas. Still no start.

Looking at the spark, it's hard to see but there is a spark. I have a spark tester. How big of a gap should I check? The spark is hard to see. Is it possible that the coil is too weak or should I check something else?

    Thanks for your help.

Service & Maintenance Question posted September 18, 2013 by Geoffrey Neale
I have a 125B blower purchased just 3 months ago. It has been used only once a week for about 10 minutes each time. Over the past month of use I have had problems starting the blower where the priming bulb will not fill. I overcame this issue by tilting the blower backwards, but the last time I used the blower it quit running when I gave it gas through the throttle.

I have read many reports where fuel lines can decay due to exposure to gas/ethanol/oil mix. However, I purchased and have only used the Husqvarna premixed 50:1 fuel which contains no ethanol.

Who should I contact for advice/repair? And will this be covered under warranty? I can't believe I spent $200 just three months ago for a piece of equipment that will no longer run. What's the problem?

My 125BV blower-vacuum: I can't get the vacuum tube off of the blower body. It slipped on over the tabs on the blower body, but I am afraid I am going to tear the vacuum tube trying to pry it over the tabs to remove it with a screwdriver.
