Welcome to the "Husqvarna's can't mulch" club. They claim there mowers will mulch but they can't. I've called them many times on this but just get the run around.
A lot of people having this problem. Has anybody figured out a solution yet?
I have been fighting with Husqvarna about this for a year now. It just will not mulch. The dealer finally told me that I need to be creative and design my own mulch plug. It's false advertising that the box says it mulches. Where did you see anything about a mulch kit for this mower? I would be interested in trying one.
I've called in about this problem many times. It's very clear that Husqvarna doesn't give a ***. The last time I called they said they had a new blade that works better. They charged me $37.00 for the new blade. When the new blade arrived It was the same blade that was already on the mower. I'll never buy anything from Husqvarna again.

The last time I called the guy said they are flooded with calls about this problem. He said they came up with a new blade that fixes the problem. I said great. He said it's only $37.00. What ?? Your going to charge me to make it do what it's supposed to do?? He wouldn't give it to me without a credit card number. I was pissed but I gave in and said ok I want the new blade. Guess what. The blade showed up and it was the exact same blade that was already on the mower. It didn't solve anything. The problem is the mulch plug that is attached to the chute door. It's too small. It doesn't fill the entire void. Grass fills up in the pocket and then falls out. I asked the dealer about a refund and they refused. (Small private owned hardware store). They said I should design my own much plug. What a bunch of BS
I'm having this problem also. Called Husqvarna several times and they offered no help. The last time I called they said they came out with a new blade for it to fix this problem. I thought great. They charged me 37 dollars and sent me the same exact blade that was already on it. I'm definitely pissed about it. I bought the mower at a little locally owned hardware store and they don't want to take it back.
Same problem here. Did you ever get this resolved? I called the support line and they were no help. They just said try again in a couple of weeks.
