Hi Chummy,
Returning the product will be your best option, otherwise you will have to take it to a Weed Eater Authorized Service Dealer.
The service needed will have to be performed by a professional technician.
I apologize very much for the inconvenience. Thank you for contacting us and letting us know.
Sincerely: Peter B.
Hi Michel,
It's not normal for any Chainsaw to leak a lot of oil. Your best option would be to take the product to a Husqvarna service dealer and have them evaluate the product. Keep in mind this is not adjustable and you want all the components related to this function to be in good working condition.
Always make sure to use the proper bar and chain oil.
Please refer to the dealer service locator below, I hope this helps.
Sincerely,

Hi Mark,
I apologize for the inconvenience on your Weed Eater One.
If returning it to Wal-mart is no longer an option, you will have to take it to a Authorized Weed Eater Servicing Dealer. Your product likely has a drive disc problem which can only be serviced by a professional technician.
Please refer to the web site below for a service center near you:

Hi Chummy
I apologize for the delay, I tried contacting through your personal e mail. Not sure if the information was complete. If you can please refer to the dealer service locater closest to you. Have them contact us in order to expedite the service that needs to be provided to the mower.
Once the dealer gives us a product evaluation I'm confident we will have your product back in proper working order.
Thank's again Chummy!

Hey Dean
I like using a small checklist for situations like this.
1. Check the kill switch, and fuel level.
2. Remove and spray spark plug with carb cleaner.
3. With spark plug in boot against the engine, pull the cord to confirm a spark.
4. Mount spark plug, prime lightly, and restart.
If it continues to do the same I recommend taking the product to a Servicing Dealer for further evaluation.
Thank you for posting you question on Answer Army.

There are two good possibilities, the chain could be sharper on one side, or the bar may be bent.
I would not hesitate seeking a service technician that is experienced in servicing saws. Also, the servicing dealer would be able look over the saw for any other possibilities. Lastly, depending on your saw model and the size of the larger tree may also provide an explanation.

Hi Dennis,
We apologize for the inconvenience you had with our product. It does sound like your product is covered under warranty but without knowing the full details of your particular model then your local dealer will be able to tell for sure.
We are determined in providing the best warranty support and customer care through our dealers.
Please refer to the web site below for another servicing dealer near you. I would recommend trying a different dealer for a second opinion.
Contact the dealer and make an appointment to have the product evaluated for service.

Keep in mind 2 stroke engines can be very sensitive to altitude and weather change. Some trimmers are going to require an adjustment right out of the box. Personally, I would not return and instead I would seek a Service Dealer and have them adjust the carburetor if you do not feel comfortable doing so. I can assure you that after the adjustment is completed then it will run at 100%.
Thank you for using Answer Army.
Have a great day!

Caesar,
All US built products are the same for each model with the only exception of Sears request. They use a different bar and chain that they specify to be on the model.
Thank you and have a great day.

Hi Dave
I want to apologize for the inconvenience and thank you at the same time for posting your comment with answerarmy.
Your doing the right thing by using premix fuel, this allows me to narrow down the situation of your product.
My recommendation would be to take the product to a Weed Eater Service dealer and have them adjust the Carburetor.
Due to EPA regulations the tool needed for this adjustment is only available to service technicians only.
Altitude and weather changes do affect the operation of the carburetor. I hope this information will be helpful.
Thanks again and have a great day.

Hi Dr Kee
Before i mention the obvious, remove the gas and replace it with a new mix.
If it continues to spin at idle, then we need to have the carburetor adjusted at a service dealer.
Altitude and change in the weather can affect the performance of the engine.
I apologize for the inconvenience and hope this will be helpful.
