2. Can you send me a procedure for removing the transmission on a HU800HW mower ?Details:I purchased a HU800HW mower last year and the drive shaft on the side opposite the cutting height control lever has broken. The end of it was sheared off after the bearing on adjuster arm assembly on that side separated from the plate in the assembly leaving the shaft to rest on the plate instead of the bearing. Eventually, the plate cut through the drive shaft enough that it broke in two. Of course, since that assembly is enclosed in a plastic cover, I only found out what happened after I removed the wheel on that side to see why there was no longer any drive power being applied to the wheel on that side and unfortunately with all of Husqvarna's warranty exclusions, a broken drive shaft does not appeared to be covered under their 2 year warranty.

Parts list calls for 434564 but mfr/dealer parts info says replacement part is now 589600601 which was shipped. Installing the transmission requires a lot of work. And after all that, the new part does not work within this machine - in order to mount so belt drive from engine/blade drive is level, the transmission can not be pulled by the drive cable - this gear box has design with large flange which prohibits installation or movement by hitting the steel bottom of mower. Something is nuts! The shafts on the transmission are two lengths - the short length shaft goes to left side (from behind.)At least it should - it can't be installed that way.
The old tran case is markedly different. I need the old design.Details:All the U.S. suppliers of parts and all the exploded view parts diagrams/list show the old transmission but the ordering system forces the replacement "universal" part - which IS NOT universal.

Kit parts include pinions 414734 (RH) and 414735 (LH) and 2 washers. First attempt included no washers (spacers); 2nd attempt included 1 spacer (could not fit both). Did not make any difference.

All drive parts have been cleaned, deburred, and finally replaced.
No help. Is there a replacement kit that solves this problem?

I purchased a 7021P push mower a month ago. Last week it shut off by itself on its 4th use. I tried to restart it but could not pull the cord. The next day I tried to start and it worked again. Is this an engine problem?
- Service & Maintenance Question posted October 17, 2012 by mike mitchellQuestion:775 hw mower, stopped running took t to dealer, they said they cleaned grass from around the drive wheel that interacts with the belt. mower ran fine for 20 minutes same bogs down and will not run in gear, turned over cleaned grass from wheel started ran fine for 5 miutes same problem. is this a major flaw in the design i cannot and will not clean every 5 minutes to keep it running?

Mowed under a small bush and the engine stopped and will not restart. Maybe spring missing. I need a detailed diagram for the model/775H to see the spring locations and connections.

I searched the lawn for any piece that may have broken off the mower. I found a black piece that matched up to the transmission. This piece broke off. How can it be fixed? is it covered under warranty? please help
