I am unable to get my lawn mover to run more than a couple seconds at a time. See the details section for more info.Details:Hi, I bought a new Huqvarna mower in May. I've only used it a handful of times, as it's been pretty dry this summer. It ran OK at first, but I noticed it starting stalling frequently after using it a couple times. The problem seemed to be the air filter, because as soon as I removed the filter and started it back up, it ran like a champ.
I bought a new air filter today and replaced it. With the brand new air filter, it would not start. Now, when I remove the filter, it will run for a couple seconds and then stall out. The only other things I changed are that I added more gas and checked the oil. Soo.. I'm pretty much stuck at this point. I tried following the instructions for a flooded engine but haven't got it to run for more than 5 seconds. Any ideas??

Service & Maintenance Question posted February 27, 2012 by John RobinsonQuestion:I just purchased an HU775H walk behind mower. When I got it home the drive system would not move it when in grass. I returned it to the dealer and got a 2nd mower. Same problem. The grass height is not tall and it doesn't even work with the deck at its highest setting. Am I doing something wrong? This mower is supposed to work right out of the box and I'm about to take my 2nd one back. The machine is about 4 years old. About a year ago, it started making an annoying noise that sounds like rushing air (best approximation), paired with engaged drive. I thought it was just debris in the belt channel, so I hosed it out and thought it got slightly better. I realize, now, I should have pulled the cover off and checked the belt, but I am a busy guy (lame, I know). Even now, I'm dressed for work, and though I'd like to pull it apart, I don't have the time. So, I'm puzzling it out in my mind. I expect the answer will be clear when I get to that, and I'll share it then, but anyone who'd like to pose a guess will be welcome.
- Service & Maintenance Question posted March 1, 2012 by Peter StevensQuestion:Just purchased a HU775H/961450007 and it wouldn't drive the rear wheels - adjusted the drive cable and got it to move along flat ground, small inclines wouldn't drive, tightend drive cable more, still wouldn't start on a slight hill but would go if i pushed it, but that defeats the object of having a powered mower - it squeels like a stuck pig when it is trying to move will it ever move smoothly up an incline? or should i buy a differnt mower, my previous mowers have never had this problem on the same incline - i have read other similar complaints on the drive mechanism on this site - sounds like a problem, it's brand new so i will probably justt return it and get a different brand unless someone has a simple solution.

I have a HU725AWD bought it about 6 months ago. Yesterday the traction belt fell off the pulleys and made a nice screaming sound along with smoke. Pulling the covers off i found the belt to be off the pulleys. I put it back together and adjusted the cable all the way and tried it again just to watch the belt fall off again. Very frustrated right now! I have had other mower go 4-5 years and never have a belt issue. So my question is? Do you only get months out a belt with Husqvarna? If so i wish i would have known that before i bought it. Thanks
- Service & Maintenance Question posted May 19, 2016 by Jim PopergQuestion:I have a 2010 walk behind mower 7021R.(model number corrected) The single-lever wheel height adjustment broke. I removed the wheel and reset the pin in the hole on the plate. Now the lever raises that wheel, but the bar pivots at the point where the other end of the bar is pinned to the other rear wheel, so that the bar doesn't lift the other 3 wheels. Is there a part that holds the height adjustment bar in place so that it can't pivot on the opposite wheel bracket? I do not see one in the schematics. If not, how do I secure it so that when the bar rotates it will lift the other wheels? Thanks.Photo:

I have a husqvarna self-propelled mower model 5521chv. The dust cover on the front right wheel has been broken and dirt and grass has been getting in. Of course the wheel got packed with grass several times and I kept cleaning it out until finally the plastic sprocket gears inside the drive wheel got mostly worn down. So I recently ordered and received a new right wheel and a new dust cover. I have taken off the wheel and metal sprocket without any problem, but I can't figure out how to get the dog clutch assembly off the shaft so that I can slide on the dust cover behind it. Is there a hidden key or pin that needs to be removed to get that assembly off the shaft so that I can slide the dust cover on behind it and reassemble it?

This mower has a bag, but I don't always want to use it as it fills up too quickly and makes your hands a mess constantly dumping it.
Without using it, the bag door springs shut and grass has no where to go, and will just clump up and stall the mower out, especially when grass is wet which is normal this time of year in Florida.
Even if I was able to prop the door open, it is in the back of the mower and grass would shoot directly at you while mowing.
Please tell me there is some attachment/chute that connects where the bag would go and shoot grass out to the side!?! I almost at the point where I will have to get a different mower. Thanks!
