Parts Question posted July 25, 2016 by GrassyQuestion:I just purchased a HU725AWD mower. I can't tell whether this model has the water hose washout feature. There's a steel nipple on the rear left hand side of the deck, but no threaded hose connection. Is there a part that connects a garden hose coupling to this nipple? If so what's the part number. I purchased this as a demo model at Lowes, and it's possible the part is missing. That specific blade doesn't seem to be available at my local Lowe's store where I purchased the mower. They have others just not this exact part. I just bought the new Husky all wheel drive walk-behind mower HU800AWD from Lowes. It was a floor model so it came assemblied. The manual says there is a choke level with a picutre showing it. I looked at the spot where the picture shows and searched high and low for the choke lever but there is no sign of it. Is the manual accurate, or is the part missing from my mower? Thanks a lot experts!

- Parts Question posted May 17, 2011 by Dave HarnishQuestion:I just bought a walk-behind HU800HW mower. Runs fine and I like the design so far, but I need a side discharge chute for it NOW. Husqvarna's advertising says all 3 options - rear bagging, mulching, and side discharge - are included with all WB mowers, but this one has no side discharge capability out of the box (and 'mulching' is a joke, with our thick Spring grass - mower clogs up with clippings in about 15 feet).
I registered my purchase to have a chute sent to me, but now I'm told it'll be a 6-8 week(!) wait to get one! That's unacceptable, and my dealer, as well as Huskie's customer service 800# helpline can't help.
I need to cut grass NOW, and bagging it all in the tiny bagger isn't an option here.
How can I get a side discharge chute in the next few days? I'm willing to buy one at this point, even though I already have a bad taste in my mouth, to be frank, wondering if the Husqvarna brand was a mistake. This is my first experience with the company.

John 3:3 - Parts Question posted September 15, 2017 by Paul HanelineQuestion:I have the lawn mower for at least 2 years and sharpen the original blade at least 4 times and putting the blade back on with no problems. Now, I took the blade off for the last time and the part number "581 85 15-01 Blade Adapter / Pulley" teeth all broke off.
So I ordered a new one. As soon as I started the mower up the new pulley started to hit the other pulley in the mower. So I stopped it and took off the blade. Now, the teeth for holding the blade broke as well.
So I ordered another one. The second new pulley didn't hit the other pulley. Which was good. But now it made another noise, so I stopped the engine and as soon as it slowed down the blade feel right off and the teeth are broken again. The bolt I can still tighten, meaning the threads are still ok.
The design may put too much stress on the teeth that make sure the blade turns with the engine. This is the 3rd pulley that broke along with the original one that didn't break for at least a couple of years after I got the mower.Details:The one on the left is the original that came with the mower and the one on the right is the 2nd new one. Both broken.
