Parts Question posted February 8, 2018 by LEO KOLARIKQuestion:Is there a better 3rd party blade adapter that fits my HU800AWDDetails:There appears to be a major problem with the star shearing or the key shearing on the Husqvarna 581851501 Blade Adapter . My problem started after removing and sharpening blade prior to putting away for the winter . When I started the mower after changing oil, the blade came loose and damaged the star on the original adapter. I though I may have done something wrong until I start reading the reviews for this replacement part . There is multiple reported problems of repeated failures of this item.
Some reports that the bolt needs to torqued to at least 100 ft lbs and this will correct the issue with failure. Is there any truth to this or a recommended torque for the bolt?
The original adapter is reported to be of better quality than this replacement. supposedly it had a separate key slot instead of it being part of the casting. Is this one available anywhere? The newly ordered part is labeled sintergy no matter which vendor I choose. Is this a genuine Husqvarna part?
Has any remedy for this problem been found ? Maybe I will be lucky when I get and install this replacement but other adapters of this type from this company are having the same failure problem.

The bag is not dust proof and by the time I am done mowing my yard, I have half a pound of dust in my lungs and am fully coated all over with a thick layer of dust! Most other manufacturers have dust proof bags. To make matters worse, the welding on either side of the bag handle broke. The receipt from Lowes was printed on thermal paper and has faded. I have finally located an auto repair shop in downtown Fort Worth that also doubles up as an authorized Husqvarna service center.
Is a dust proof bag available for Husqvarna mowers? If yes, where can I find it? and BTW who thought of marketing these mowers with the "pass the dust through" bags?! - Parts Question posted May 28, 2017 by john brownQuestion:HU800AWD Drive cable spring is broken. It's the one the cable passes through at the body end terminus. The upper hook/anchor portion of the spring is broken at 2.5 turns above the lower crooked end/anchor.
The Husqvarna fiche doesn't show it as a separate part from the cable 581 95 21-01 nor do photos of the cable I've found at online parts retailer. I see 2 springs listed and pictures do not depict the remnants of the one I have.
Is this spring included with the cable? Am I suffering from an advanced case of myopia? Is there a secrete part number I can order?
Furthermore and finally...to what does the upper end hook?
