General Product Question posted November 5, 2018 by prag16Question:I have a YTH22V46. I finished mowing, then pulled the brake/neutral release rod at the back outward to allow me to push/roll the tractor into its storage location.
Normally I just press the brake pedal on the left side with my foot to re-engage, so that it will no longer roll freely, but this had no effect. The mower could still roll freely. I manually pushed the rod at the back of the mower back in, and it clicked into place, but the mower STILL was able to roll freely. I repeated this a few more times with no luck.
Searching around, 99.9% of complaints involve the opposite problem, the mower being unable to go into neutral, or parking brake unable to release, so I can't really find anything on the exact issue I'm having.
Any idea what may be going on here? Anything to look for? Thanks!
EDIT: Probably obvious, but after reading the manual what I'm referring to is the freewheel control. So the mower is stuck in "freewheel mode" and it seems that the transmission is not re-engaging.- General Product Question posted April 4, 2017 by Corey EagleQuestion:I just purchased the YT48DXLS but am struggling to find what the towing capacity is for the mower. - General Product Question posted May 10, 2015 by Michael EsseyQuestion:I am frustrated ......I purchased a gt52xls to replace another manufacturers tractor......went to a private dealer not the box store.....20 hrs on tractor....would shutoff when pto was engaged..took it in....2 weeks later it was fixed.....I owed them 40.00....for 2 sparkplugs...still under warranty....20hrs. Also purchased the 3 bin bagger for this machine....and when the belt driven motor is attached to the tractor...whether deck flexes into the floor board of the tractor it drives the double stacked pull into the floor cutting a groove in the floor......can I change the spindle on The left side of the deck to the single one on the oposite side.....I have never used the bagger system nor Will I ......I was talked into wasting my money on this too....but also do you think there is a issue with this engine to need the spark plugs changed in 20 hrs.....

I have been to 3 local Husqvarna dealers in surrounding counties looking and asking Questions. I'm very surprised to see the lack of knowledge these dealers have about their Mowers. I think from the research I have done online, I know more than they do!! It makes me not even want to purchase a Husqvarna , almost. All I really want to know is how does a Pedal Operated Diff work and how is it different from the electric switch operated one that is on the Dash that is manually operated? And what is a automatic Diff Lock that everyone is complaining about? I think I would rather have a switch the I can determine when I need the Diff to lock in. Which Models come with the Manually switched Diff Locks mounted on the Dash.
