General Product Question posted December 2, 2018 by James Clemens
    Question:
Have a 128LDX with hedge and string trimmer attachments. Even when new, depressing the lock and attaching an accessory was difficult. I’ve used lubricants —it’s still a hit or miss task

Currently, I am unable to attach anything. It’s maybe a year old. I haven’t misused it. The design of the attachments is extremely flawed

Any ideas on how I might make just attaching accessories easier?

    Question:
Why does my new string trimmer seem to be bogged down and won't idle?
    Details:
This is a new trimmer it ran fine for the first tank or two of fuel. now it seems to run for a few minutes then actually gets just bogged down. It will run with the choke on but the minute you set it to idle it just shuts off. Seems like it is bound up or something. Any ideas where to start?

    Question:
I just purchased my Mower and Power trimmer/Blower and the store is telling me that they cannot get the Bli150 Battery that I paid for. They are saying it was replaced with Bli20 (4.0Ah) which shows less Ah then then Bli150 (4.2 Ah). I cannot find a ton of information on if this is the case. New model or whatever. Is this a cheaper battery? Should they charge me less?

    Thanks,

    Marty

    Question:
My Husqvarna 128LD string trimmer keeps dying on me. I bought it recently, and I could never get it running right the first time I used it. Then, I carefully reread the starting instructions, and the second time I used it, after warming it up, it seemed to run fine. However, the third time I used it, I let it warm up, and it began to die after about 20 minutes. Every restart gave me only another 30 seconds of operation, so I got frustrated and put it down. Am I going to have a continuing problem with this?

    Question:
Is there an option to change the hard rubber tires to pneumatic tires on the walk behind string trimmer? The hard tires do not roll over small rocks etc.

    Question:
I have a 123L Husqvarna String Trimmer that wont start. I have installed a NEW fuel primer pump bulb, a NEW flywheel, a New ignition module, NEW Champion #RCJ7Y spark plug put in FRESH fuel, and cleaned the air filter...I checked the compression and it has 50 lbs of compression...I also checked the "on/off" switch and it is working properly

It IS getting spark to the plug....I have even "primed" the engine by putting gas directly into the spark plug hole and have even tried spraying STARTING FLUID straight into the plug hole.....Still WON'T EVEN fire briefly.....

So, if I'm getting spark, fuel and air (and 50 lbs of compression) why won't it AT LEAST fire?

The only thing I can think of is TIMING but I installed the flywheel correctly.....PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!

Can I speak to an engineer?

ALSO....What is the compression SUPPOSE to be for my trimmer?....Is 50 lbs sufficient?

    Question:
Cannot Register Product online. Fix your web site! There are dozens of posts all stating the same problem that they can’t register their product on line because the product model name search does not work. Not a single answer or reply form support to help, and no way to contact them. Sure seems like a convenient way not to have to honor any warranties if the customers can’t register.
    Details:

Manual says model is a 128LD Trimmer

    Question:
I am looking at Husqvarna as a string trimmer option. I am a homeowner trying to stay in the 200-$250 price range. I have been advised to look for the labels that show they are made in Sweden. Which models are made in Sweden in my price range - if any? Also, then where are the others made? What is the difference?

    Thanks,
    Jeff
