November 9, 2011 my Husqvana backpak blower would not start. I called the 1-800 number was told Swan Lake Hardware in Bossier City, La was the authorized warranty dealer. I took the blower to them on 11-15-2011 and am still waiting for something to be done. Please advised the status of this from your company.

Helpful 580BTS blower handlebar assy instructions? I purchased 544 40 00-04 handlebar assy for my 580BTS backpack blower. A bag of parts arrived with no instructions or exploded assy drawing. The screws and nuts were easy to figure out, but how to position the plastic assemblies on the handle tube and blower pipe are ambiguous. Is there an instruction sheet on intended parts assembly?

What I have done does not seem right. Perhaps I should take a picture of what I have done and you can advise change(s)?

    Hi,

I am about to purchase a Husqvarna 580BTS but am being told that Husqvarna is addressing an overheating issue currently and the fix version of the 580BTS won't be available until MArch of this year.

Can Husqvarna confirm this? I don't want to buy the blower if there is a new version coming out?

    thx in advance,
    Chris

I bought a well-used 150BF through eBay and it worked perfectly all through the fall season until recently. All of a sudden, if I want it to run without cutting out, I have to keep the choke lever closed almost all the way. Seems like it is just not getting enough fuel. I have tried leaving the tank cap on loose, replaced the fuel filter and fuel line, checked the spark plug condition (seemed wet)and gap. I am using 10% ethanol fuel and a universal 50:1 to 16:1 oil.
Is this a common malfunction for the model and what are the fixes?
