Yes fuel and oil are to be removed from the saw before storing. Please review the operators manual for guidance on storage.

Eddie, while I understand your reluctance to take the unit in to a servicing dealer, doe to health and convenience issues.  I believe this is the correct course of action. My concern is that something may actually be tweaked or bent and if not then the dealers service personnell can work with the technical support staff to find a resolution. The servicing dealer should be able to repair the unit and once that is done if found to be a defect they would file a warranty, that warranty is part of how the manufacturing facilities get their feed back. I am concerned that we are not having this complaint wide spread. As a side note even on larger machines when a collection system is added the mower needs to be releveled because of the additional weight added by not only the tube bt the weight of the grass in the tube.

First lets clear the above comment up.

I pushed this to the engineers. The transmission in the LGT2654 is designed to carry the load and the horse power produced in this model.

We do offer different transmissions in different models the model transmission that is referred to in the above reply has not been used by Husqvarna for more than 4 years, and when it was that tractor started at $2700.00 The spacers as are referred to do not affect the transmission in any way. The spacers affect ground clearance and design based on the frame chosen and the tire size. K46 Tuff Torq transmissions ( the brand and type in your tractor ) can and do have different gear ratios, this is determined in part by tire size as there are limitations on ground speed. So a transmission with a larger tire diameter requires a different gear ratio than one with a smaller tire. Also Tuff Torq Corporation has to approve the design of the tractor and the various implements the tractor is to be officially supported with. The axle spacers are not to "fool" anyone as referred in the previous response they are in place on many brands of tractor to keep the axles clean and cut down on rust and to space the wheel in some instances.

We have had isolated reports of this axle breaking, less than 50 a year and we have produced Tens of Thousands each year. Pleae take the tractor to your local authorized service center for repairs.

This failure represents less than 1/2 of 1 percent.

As a side note there are tens of thousands of this same model that have never had a failure of the axle.

Warranty periods differ for model and usage and also based on date of purchase.

The current warranty guidelines are any Husqvarna branded chainsaw purchased after 01 February 2010 that is not an XP or Top handle saw has a 2 year consumer warranty, or 90 days for commercial use.

All Husqvarna branded chainsaws that are either XP models or Top handle saws purchased after 01 February 2010 have a 6 month warranty for consumer or commercial use. These saws are professional grade and not intended for sale to consumers.

Rental use has its own warranty periods.

If purchased before 01 February 2010 we have a different set of guidelines.

Warranty covers against defects in materials and workmanship, this does not cover incorrect or old fuel, abuse, misuse improper assembly by consumer or non authorized repair faciltiy or improper repair, other warranty exclusions apply.

The lubrication of the needle bearing requires special tools and knowledge to perform. This is something that would need to be performed by your local authorized service center.

the lubrication of the needle bearing in the tip of the bar however is accessible to be lubricated by the consumer. This bearing also get oil from the chain, and is best greased at the end of the day.

Again thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is very upsetting that you have had these concerns.

Husqvarna HONORS all of its promotions when the guidelines are followed.

Please review this website link that was also previously provided.

Top of the page describes that "Promotions are valid at participating independent Husqvarna dealers only."

Only the dealers that participate in the Husqvarna Days promotions will offer the Powerbox case to consumers for purchasing a new Husqvarna chainsaw.

The Powerbox carrying case is PROVIDED by the participating independent Husqvarna dealer NOT HUSQVARNA. If you did not receive a Powerbox carrying case the dealer may not be participating in the Husqvarna Days promotion. You must contact the selling dealer to find out if they are participating in the program.

The promotion is available for all dealers to review on the Husqvarna dealer website.

The answer you were given by the dealer was not correct.   Please see the post below.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

This is very upsetting that you have had these failures.

I am not aware of any tire problems on the WE One, yes we did have a change on the steering adapter. I understand your being upset.

It does sound like you have had everything repaired so the mower shoudl be in good shape. Weed Eater does not have a refund or return policy, this would need to be discussed with the selling company.

We have sold 10s of thousands of these with very little trouble, and would think that with these repairs you should be good to go- I am thinking from description all these repairs should have been covered by warranty.

It is upsetting that you have had this concern.

The "FREE" carrying case is only available if the saw is purchased from an INDEPENDENT Husqvarna Sales and Service dealer. They are not available if the unit is purchased from a Mass Merchant.

  • Scott W.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

To recieve a free carry case you must have purchased the saw from a participating authorized independant Husqvarna Sales and Service Dealer. The promotion is not available from mass merchants.

To recieve the case you would need to contact the selling dealer to find out if they are participating in the program.

The selling dealer would provide the case.

While we encourage product registration it is not necessary for warranty consideration, all that is required is that you present your DATED SALES RECEIPT, that you are the original owner and that the issue at hand be a warrantable failure, these are the only things needed for warranty consideration. Without a dated sales receipt there will be no consideration for warranty.
