Warranty Question posted April 6, 2012 by Randy Polk
    Question:
I bought a RZ4219 zero turn mower from a local supplier in St.Francisville,LA a few weeks ago. The belt guard fell off and damaged the deck belt while mowing. I went to buy a new belt per the stock number in the parts guide furnished with the mower (PN 574 137002). I was sold a 100" belt but it is too short. What is the correct part number and belt length?

Shouldn't it be covered under warranty since the belt guard came loose?

    Question:
I purchased my zero turn RZ5424 in September 2011, and have just experienced my 3rd warranty problem with the unit.First after less than 10 hrs, a rear tire seperated and exploded. Second, the left side transmission drive gears went completely out. And now the 3rd, a deck pulley has come loose and cut into the deck mount where it joins the frame. How many more issues are going to be allowed before this unit is recalled, and I am given a whole new unit. So far no injuries have occured with these issue, but how lucky can one customer be. I would very much like another unit to try and restore my faith in Husqvarna. Thank you, and by the way this unit still has less than 60 hrs on it.And on top of all that, I have to pay $50 dollars each time the unit has to be repaired, for transportation to and from the dealership. OUCH

Warranty Question posted January 6, 2014 by joe cantrill
    Question:
I have a Husqvarna LZ5227XP commercial mower that I bought new in 2006. I mowed with it a year and the hydraulic pumps went out. They were replaced. Mowed with it a year the hydraulic pumps went out. They were replaced. I mowed with it almost a 1/2 season with it the hydraulic pumps went out. The dealer talked to a Husqvarna Tech which instructed the dealer to replaced the hydraulic pumps with ones that have cooling fans and to remove my hydraulic cooler. That ordeal took almost an entire season so the mower sat for one year. Well those pumps have gone out in the middle of this season even after the dealer instructed me to install a cooler in the hydraulic system. The mower has almost 800 hrs. is that the normal for a Husqvarna commercial mower. All work and repairs or maintenace have been done by the dealer. The pumps seem to last 1 1/2 year before having to be replaced. What is the deal?

    Question:
I just bought a Husqvarna MZ5424S from Lowes on 5/11. This is the 2nd weekend I have had it.

I went to show my buddy the lawn mower and couldn't get it to crank. I had the clutch pulled open a little and then tried cranking it again. The engine still wouldn't crank. I then pulled the choke out a little further and the thing pulled way out.

I was like.....holy crap....what just happened? We then started tracing the choke cable and noticed the cable had been running up against the tire and it must have gotten snagged an broke the cable . This was very disappointing.

Now I`m going to have to take the mower in or have a choke cable sent to me for installation. What a bummer.

Warranty Question posted June 21, 2012 by George Sweet
    Question:
Purchased a RZ4623 from Lowes on 5-19-12. First problem was two spacers (pn 539 109562) missing on top of idler pulley (pn 539 132728) which caused the belt keeper (pn 522 629701) to lock the idler from turning. The deck belt lasted about three minutes before smoking and breaking. Lowes was kind enough to replace my belt and found two washers which provided the idler with a way to turn properly. My latest trouble was when trying to grease the zerks (pn 539 115638) on the front wheel/axle assembly. After applying grease, the zerk remained with my grease gun. Thinking perhaps it was not installed properly, I tried the other side with the same result. I have the mechanical capability to drill out the hole, and install a new 1/8 npt zerk but do not wish to void my warranty.

    Please advise. Thank you

    Question:
I just purchased an RZ4623 zero turn mower.

I went on line to register the warranty and it requires the serial number of the mower.

I could not find it anywhere on the mower.

I called the toll-free number and spent about 30 minutes with them telling me it is on a label under the seat.

It is nowhere to be found.

No label, no number etched into the frame, etc.

    Can you help me?

    Thanks!

    Question:
purchased rz4623 at lowes on 5/16/12 .they delivered it on 5/18/12. lowes instructed on use. i cut the grass . engine now has 0.5 hour on it . when placed in garage noticed oil dripping on floor . oil appears to be dripping from the area under the ohv cover on the left side of the mower. suspect a bad gasket . told lowes about this problem . where can warranty service be done? they said i could return it , but i do not have anything to trasport it . can a local service dealer fix it under the warranty , even if it was bought at lowes ? if they can , are they able to transport it under the 30 warranty for free ?
